Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival In Almaty. From India To The Heart Of Kazakhstan

Arrive at Almaty International Airport and complete the immigration formalities before meeting our representative.

Board your comfortable transfer to the city, taking in your first views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.

Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore the local streets at your own pace.

Day 2

Almaty City Tour & Kok Tobe Evening

Start your day with breakfast, then head out for a guided city tour of Almaty, Kazakhstan's largest metropolis.

Visit Panfilov Park, the city’s oldest garden, followed by the iconic Zenkov Cathedral, a stunning wooden Orthodox church.

Explore the WWII memorial dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes within the park.

Walk through Arbat Street and Panfilov Street, filled with street artists, local shops, and lively performances, then pass by Astana Square.

In the evening, take a short cable car ride to Kok Tobe Hill for sunset views, followed by beautiful night views of the city.

Later, enjoy some leisure time here with rides, cafés, or a relaxed walk before returning.

Day 3

Transfer To Kolsay Lake | En Route Explore Charyn Canyon

Post breakfast at the hotel, get ready to take an amazing road journey.

Board your transfers as we travel today to the Kolsay Lake through the countryside landscapes of Kazakhstan.

On the way, we will take a stop to explore the biggest canyon in Asia - the Charyn Canyon.

Upon reaching, hike inside the canyon to marvel at the various natural rock formations.

Later, we will continue our journey to Kolsay Lake and marvel at its beauty up close.

Spend some leisure time here looking at the scenic mountains surrounding the lake.

Next, we will head to our hotel in Saty Village.

Overnight stay in Saty Village.

Day 4

Transfer To Almaty | En Route Visit Kaindy Lake

Wake up to a beautiful morning in Saty Village with the views of surrounding mountains.

Have your breakfast and get ready to hit the roads for Kaindy Lake.

We will take a local van for approx 10 kms through rough mountain roads and will reach the majestic Kaindy Lake, perfectly tucked in mountains.

Spend some time around the lake which appears blue in summer and freezes completely in winter.

Next, we will head back to the base and continue our journey further to Almaty.

Upon reaching Almaty, check-in to the hotel and call it a day.

Day 5

Visit The Shymbulak Ski Resort | Enjoy A Cable Car Ride

Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to spend an amazing day.

Today, we will head to the Shymbulak Mountains which are around 30 kms from Almaty and the journey takes approx 1 hour.

Reach the base of the Shymbulak mountain from where you will board your cable car to reach the top.

Enjoy your cable car rides which will be divided into 3 parts until you reach the top.

Once you reach the top enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains that are lush green in summer and snow white in winter.

Shymbulak is the largest ski resort in Kazakhstan that also hosts winter sports competitions.

Upon completing the sightseeing tour for the day, return to your hotel.

Day 6

Departure | Local Exploration & Farewell To Almaty

After breakfast, enjoy a free morning to explore Almaty at your own pace before your departure.

You can visit the Green Bazaar for local souvenirs or stop by the Rakhat Chocolate Shop to pick up some of Kazakhstan’s famous sweet treats.

Alternatively, dive into the local culture with a visit to the Central State Museum or the Museum of Musical Instruments.

In the afternoon, board your transfer to Almaty International Airport for your journey back home.

Depart with a bag full of local chocolates, cultural experiences, and happy memories!

NOTE: Normal Check-in time is 03:00 PM & Check-out time is 12:00 PM in Kazakhstan. Early Check-in or late Check-out is available at an extra cost (subject to availability)

NOTE: Room category will be on an ROH basis.

NOTE: Airport transfer is at a fixed time (depending on the majority of arrival and departure time of the group) - Any early or late transfer will be charged extra.

NOTE: The age limit of our group departures is 18 to 42 years due to the power-packed itineraries that we provide to our travellers. We can customize trips for travellers beyond the mentioned age bracket.

NOTE: Every traveller is required to hold a valid passport with an expiry date of at least 6 months after the date of entering Kazakhstan.

NOTE: We can swap the Almaty stay with Saty stay and vice versa based on weather conditions and hotel availability. This way, there will be no change in the sightseeing options, as the number of nights at each destination will remain the same.
