Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Helsinki. Welcome to Finland. (D)

Upon your arrival in Helsinki, complete the immigration formalities at the airport.

Helsinki, the capital of Finland (the happiest country in the world), is a hotspot for design and architecture, and its aesthetically pleasing, vibrant neighbourhoods.

Get a warm welcome from our Tour Manager, who will guide you to your hotel and assist you with the check-in formalities.

In the evening, you can take a relaxed walk around the city centre, explore the lively Market Square area, or enjoy the peaceful waterfront views along the harbour.

Later, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind after your journey.

Day 2
Guided City Tour of Helsinki. Visit Rock Church. Overnight Cruise to Stockholm. (B, L, D)

After having your breakfast at the hotel, check out and get ready for your guided city tour of Helsinki.

You will drive past the busy harbour and shipyards and continue along the coastal road near Embassy Park.

See the colourful open-air market and proceed to Senate Square, home to the elegant Helsinki Cathedral.

Continue through Esplanadi, a popular shopping avenue lined with designer stores and cafés.

Visit the impressive Sibelius Monument, dedicated to composer Jean Sibelius.

Next, drive along Mannerheim Street to see the Parliament House, the National Museum and Finlandia Hall, designed by Alvar Aalto.

Also, view the Helsinki Olympic Stadium, built for the 1952 Olympic Games.

Later, visit the unique Temppeliaukio Church, carved out of solid rock and covered with a striking copper dome.

In the afternoon, proceed to the pier to board your overnight Silja Line cruise to Stockholm.

Enjoy dinner on board and relax as you sail across the Baltic Sea.

Day 3
Arrive in Stockholm. Guided City Tour. Visit the Vasa Museum. SkyView Ride. (B, L, D)

As you arrive in Stockholm, disembark from the cruise and meet your local guide who will introduce you to the Swedish capital.

Proceed for a guided city tour of Stockholm, often referred to as the Venice of the North.

Start by visiting Fjällgatan to see the magnificent view of the Swedish capital, spread out on 14 islands with Lake Mälar on one side and the Baltic Sea on the other.

Explore the Old Town and walk through its fascinating narrow cobble-stoned alleys, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, and the City Hall, where the festivities of the annual Nobel Prize award take place.

Next, visit the Vasa Maritime Museum, which houses eight exhibitions and is famous for its beautifully preserved wooden warship that sank in Stockholm Harbour during her ill-fated maiden voyage in 1628.

Later, we will take a mesmerising gondola ride to the SkyView – Stockholm’s landmark that takes you to the top of the world’s largest spherical building for a fantastic view of Stockholm.

After completing your sightseeing, proceed to your hotel and check in.

Day 4
Onto Oslo. Visit Karlstad - a beautiful lakeside town in Sweden. (B, L and D)

After having your breakfast at the hotel, get ready and board your coach as we drive to Oslo, the Norwegian capital.

Sit back and relax as we travel through the scenic countryside of Sweden.

En route, we will visit the charming town of Karlstad, situated between Stockholm and Oslo.

The town is bisected by the peaceful Klarälven River and is known for its Smiling Sun symbol.

Here, take a short break and enjoy the peaceful lakeside surroundings before continuing your journey.

Later, proceed towards Oslo.

On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel and relax.

Day 5
Guided city tour of Oslo. Vigeland sculpture Park & the top of Holmenkollen Ski Jump. (B, L and D)

Wake up to a pleasant morning in Norway and have your breakfast at the hotel.

Today, we will proceed on a guided city tour of Oslo, the capital of Norway.

On this guided city tour, we will visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park, a famous park that is home to over 200 stone, bronze and cast-iron figural sculptures made by the Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland.

Next, visit the top of the Holmenkollen Ski Jump, a large ski jumping hill, and get a breathtaking view of the Oslo fjords.

After completing your sightseeing, board your coach and drive to Geilo, a charming mountain town set in scenic landscapes.

On arrival, check in at the hotel and relax.

Enjoy a Western dinner in the evening.

Day 6
Experience Norway in a Nutshell. Scenic Rail & Fjord Cruise. Drive to Bergen. (B, L and D)

Post breakfast at the hotel, check out and get ready for the highlight of your journey, the Norway in a Nutshell tour.

Today, we will experience Norway through a combination of scenic train rides, a breathtaking fjord cruise and picturesque coach journeys.

Travel across majestic mountains and through dramatic valleys as you witness some of the most spectacular landscapes in the country.

Enjoy a scenic fjord cruise surrounded by towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls.

Continue the journey by train, and enjoy views of deep valleys, rivers and small villages along the way.

After completing this unforgettable experience, board your coach and drive to Bergen, known as the Gateway to the Fjords.

On arrival, admire the historic harbour area and the colourful wooden buildings of Bryggen.

Check in at your hotel and relax.

Enjoy your dinner in the evening.

Day 7
Guided Tour of Bergen. Visit Mt. Fløyen. Overnight Fjordline Cruise. (B, L and Western D)

Post breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed for a guided tour of Bergen.

Today, we will explore the city’s rich history and vibrant harbour area.

Walk through the UNESCO-listed Bryggen, known for its colourful wooden houses and maritime heritage.

Later, board the Fløibanen funicular to reach the top of Mount Fløyen.

Enjoy panoramic views of the city, the fjords and the surrounding mountains from the top.

After lunch, proceed to board the Fjord Line cruise from Bergen to Hirtshals.

Spend the evening relaxing on board as you sail across the North Sea.

Enjoy a Western dinner on board.

Overnight stay on the cruise.

Day 8
Arrive in Hirtshals. Aarhus Orientation Tour. Visit H.C. Andersen Museum. Drive to Copenhagen. (B, L and D)

After breakfast on board, arrive in Hirtshals and disembark from the cruise.

Board your coach and drive to Aarhus.

On arrival, proceed for an orientation tour of the city.

Enjoy a photo stop at the Infinite Bridge, a unique circular wooden bridge that stretches into the sea and offers panoramic views of Aarhus Bay.

Later, enjoy your lunch.

Continue your journey to Odense, the birthplace of the famous Danish author Hans Christian Andersen.

Visit the H.C. Andersen Museum, where you can learn about his life, childhood and the fairy tales that made him world famous.

After the visit, board your coach and drive to Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark.

Day 9

Wake up to a beautiful morning in Copenhagen.

Get ready and begin your city tour, where you’ll see Copenhagen’s key sights and landmarks.

Enjoy a scenic Nyhavn canal cruise that takes you along the historic waterfront with its colourful old buildings, lively harbour and classic boats.

After the cruise, visit the Carlsberg Brewery to learn about the history and brewing heritage of one of Denmark’s most famous beer brands and enjoy a beer tasting as part of the tour.

In the evening, head to Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks, known for its gardens, thrilling rides, shows and relaxed atmosphere.

After an enjoyable evening, return to your hotel.

Day 10
Departure. Head Back with Happy Memories. (B)

Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast at the hotel

Get ready and check out from the hotel to board your transfer to Copenhagen Airport.

Your memorable Scandinavian tour concludes as you are dropped off at the airport for your onward journey.
