Set in Himachal’s quiet corner, Bir blends slow mountain life with real adventure. The highlight? Soaring high above the Kangra Valley during one of the best paragliding experiences in India.

You take off from Billing, perched at about 2,400 meters, and glide for 15–30 minutes over pine forests, monasteries, and tiny villages before landing in Bir at around 1,500 meters. That drop, that open sky, it hits different. Calm, but thrilling.

Back in Bir, things slow down. You can walk through local streets, try Tibetan food, or just sit at a café and let time pass. It’s simple. It feels real. As night falls, a cozy bonfire, good food, and mountain air bring everyone together.

Itinerary

Day 0

Overnight Journey From Delhi To Bir

Begin your journey from Delhi in the evening as you board an overnight bus to Bir.

Meet our representative and your fellow travelers as you start your trip.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the road trip as you leave the city behind and head towards the mountains.

Day 1

Paragliding & Bir Exploration

Arrive in Bir in the morning and head to your hotel/campsite for check-in.

Freshen up and enjoy a relaxed breakfast before the day begins.

Later, get ready for an unforgettable paragliding experience.

Reach the take-off site in Billing and glide down over the Kangra Valley, with views of pine forests, villages, and wide open skies.

Land at the Bir landing site after a flight that usually lasts 15–20 minutes, depending on the wind.

After the adventure, the rest of the day is yours to explore Bir at your own pace.

You can walk through the local market, stop by cozy cafés, visit monasteries, and try authentic Tibetan dishes.

If you are feeling active, rent a mountain bike (at your own cost) and ride to nearby monasteries.

As the evening sets in, gather around for a warm bonfire session.

Enjoy your dinner under the open sky and soak in the peaceful vibe of the mountains.

Day 2

Gunehar Waterfall Hike & Departure

Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a fulfilling breakfast.

Later, pack your bags and then check out from the hotel/campsite.

From here, we’ll head for a short hike to Gunehar Waterfall (2-3 hours), a serene spot hidden amidst lush greenery.

You can relax here, enjoy the views, and spend some peaceful time before heading back.

Post lunch, board your bus for an overnight journey back to Delhi carrying the memories of your paragliding adventure.

NOTE: Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc. May cause itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing.

NOTE: The age limit of our group departures is 18 to 40 years due to the power packed itineraries that we provide to our travellers. We can customize trips for travellers beyond the mentioned age bracket.

NOTE: The mode of transportation from Delhi is primarily operated by private entities (third party vendor's), except in cases where the group size exceeds 35 individuals.

NOTE: INR 2,500/- per person extra for paragliding

Inclusions

Entire travel as per the itinerary. (From Delhi to Bir & Bir to Delhi it will be in Semi-sleeper Volvo & for the internal transfer it will be in Sumo/Tempo).

3 meals will be provided throughout the trip. 2 meal on Day 1 (Breakfast + Dinner) + 1 meals on Day 2 (Breakfast)

Accommodation in Swiss camps/Hotel at Bir.

Team captain throughout the trip.

Driver night charges, toll tax, parking charges.
