Itinerary

Day 1

Chandigarh To Manali (Approx. 280 Km | 6-7 Hrs) | Journey Into The Himalayas

Arrive in Chandigarh and meet our representative at the designated pickup point.

Board your transfer and begin your journey towards Manali, marking the start of your Spiti Valley road trip.

The route gradually opens up to winding mountain roads, pine-covered hills, and beautiful views of the Beas River.

By evening, reach Manali (6,700 ft.) and check in to your stay.

If time permits, you can explore Mall Road, browse local shops, or grab a coffee at one of the town's popular cafés.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Manali.

Day 2

Manali To Kaza (Approx. 200 Km | 7-8 Hrs) | Atal Tunnel & Lahaul Valley

Wake up to a beautiful mountain morning and enjoy breakfast before checking out from your stay.

Today, we begin our journey towards Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley and the highlight of this Spiti Valley tour.

Drive through the iconic Atal Tunnel and enter the dramatic landscapes of the Lahaul region.

As we continue higher into the Himalayas, the route is filled with winding roads, river crossings, and ever-changing mountain views.

Keep your cameras ready as the scenery becomes increasingly spectacular on the approach to Spiti.

By evening, reach Kaza (12,500 ft.) and check in to your stay.

Day 3

Kaza Sightseeing | Explore Hikkim, Komic & Langza

Wake up to stunning views of the Spiti Valley and enjoy breakfast before heading out for the day.

Our first stop will be Hikkim (14,400 ft.), home to one of the world's highest post offices.

Don't miss the chance to send a postcard to your loved ones or even to yourself from this remote Himalayan village.

Next, visit Komic (15,000 ft.), among the highest motorable villages in the world.

You can explore the village, visit the monastery, and enjoy a hot meal with incredible mountain views all around.

Later, continue to Langza, a picturesque village dominated by a giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley.

Keep an eye out for marine fossils scattered around the area, a fascinating reminder that Spiti was once submerged under the ancient Tethys Sea.

Return to Kaza by evening and spend some time exploring the cafés and local market.

Day 4

Kaza To Chandratal (Approx. 95 Km | 5-6 Hrs) | Key Monastery, Kunzum Pass & Moon Lake

After breakfast, check out from your stay and continue your journey through Spiti.

We'll begin the day with a visit to the iconic Key Monastery, the largest monastery in Spiti, perched high above the valley.

Walk through the monastery complex, step into the prayer halls, and enjoy sweeping views of the Spiti River from the top.

Later, we’ll drive towards Chandratal Lake via the spectacular Kunzum Pass (15,060 ft.), one of the main gateways to Spiti Valley.

If conditions permit, stop at the small Kunzum Mata Temple, where travellers traditionally seek blessings before continuing their journey.

On a clear day, you may also catch distant views of the Bara Shigri Glacier, the largest glacier in Himachal Pradesh.

By afternoon, arrive at Chandratal Lake, famous for its striking blue waters and ever-changing reflections.

Take a short walk to the lake and spend some time by the shoreline before heading to your campsite.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in camps near Chandratal.

Day 5

Chandratal To Manali (Approx. 115 Km | 5-6 Hrs) | Crossing Back Through Lahaul

Wake up to a beautiful morning near Chandratal and enjoy breakfast at the campsite.

Later, enjoy a drive back via Kunzum Pass and the rugged landscapes of Lahaul Valley.

Keep an eye out for changing mountain colours, glacier-fed streams, and the dramatic terrain that makes this Spiti Valley adventure tour so memorable.

We’ll then cross the Atal Tunnel and continue towards Manali.

By evening, reach Manali (6,700 ft.) and check in to your hotel.

Day 6

Manali To Chandigarh (Approx. 280 Km | 6-7 Hrs) | Journey Back Home

Enjoy breakfast and check out from your hotel in Manali.

Later, board your transfer back to Chandigarh, passing through river valleys and small Himalayan towns along the way.

Reach Chandigarh by evening with memories of Chandratal, Kaza, Key Monastery, and the incredible landscapes of Spiti.
