Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Lisbon. Welcome to Portugal. (D)

Upon your arrival in Lisbon, complete the immigration formalities at the airport.

Meet the representative at the airport who will help you board your transfers to the hotel.

Upon reaching the hotel, complete the check-in process and rest.

You can then spend the rest of the day exploring this beautiful city famous for its sunny weather, great nightlife, colorful buildings, Fado music, and friendly locals.

Day 2
Guided city tour of Lisbon. Photo-stop at Belem Tower. Orientation tour of Sintra. (B, L, and D)

Wake up to a pleasant morning in Portugal and have your breakfast at the hotel.

Get ready to explore Lisbon with a professional English-speaking guide.

We will stroll on Lisbon’s historic cobblestone streets and explore the city’s oldest quarters like Moorish Alfama and art deco-style Chiado districts.

We will also explore some of the iconic landmarks like the Sé Cathedral and Commerce Square.

For lunch, you can visit some of the city’s best cafes and boutiques just like the locals of Lisboa.

Next, we will visit Avenida da Liberdade – the most expensive and fancy avenue in Lisbon along with Praca dos Restauradores, Igreja de Sao Domingos, and Chiado.

Later, we will take a quick photo stop at the Belem Tower - a medieval defensive tower on the northern bank of the River Tagus which is also a symbol of Europe’s Age of Discovery.

Belém Tower is sometimes known as The Tower of St Vincent as its construction celebrated the expedition to India of Vasco da Gama, the famous Portuguese explorer.

Next, we will drive to one of the most enchanting places in Europe - Sintra.

Here, we will visit the Pena Palace known for its colorful architectural extravagance and lush gardens.

While walking on the colorful streets of this village, taste some of the best Portuguese dishes.

Before heading back to the hotel, we will pass through the picturesque village of Cascais and the Estoril Coast - popular for its vast and beautiful beaches.

Day 3
Transfer to Seville, Spain. Enjoy the Flamenco Show. (B, L, and D)

Post breakfast at the hotel in the morning, get ready for the day.

Board your coach and enjoy a scenic drive to Seville - the largest city in Southern Spain.

It is believed that this city has been built by Hercules himself and its fascinating history makes it one of Spain's most intriguing places to visit.

After a 4.5-hour journey, reach Seville, check in at the hotel and relax for some time.

In the evening, we will enjoy an authentic Flamenco show of flamboyant dancing, singing, hand clapping, and rousing guitar music.

After the electrifying Flamenco performance, we will head back to our hotel.

Day 4
Transfer to Granada. Guided city tour of Seville and Cordoba. Monastery of San Jerenimo. (B, L, and D)

Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel in the morning and get ready for the day.

Walk through the streets to get an insight into the Andalusian culture and heritage that is reflected on the streets and monuments here.

We will see some of the most famous landmarks of Seville like - the Catedral de Santa María de la Sede which is the largest Gothic church in Spain.

This cathedral is also the final resting place of Christopher Columbus and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Other attractions included in this tour are - La Giralda, Real Alcázar, Plaza Nueva, Aire de Sevilla, and Catedral de Sevilla.

Later, we will drive to Cordoba - the only city in Spain to have 4 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Upon reaching, we will begin an orientation city tour where we will walk through the streets of this magnificent city while taking pictures, eat and shop some souvenirs.

We will also see some of the popular monuments like Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, Roman Bridge, Puerta del Puente, Patio de los Naranjos, Jewish Quarter of Córdoba and Plaza of the Corredera.

Next, we will also visit the Monastery of San Jerónimo - an architectural jewel amongt the other religious buildings of Córdoba since the beginning of the 15th century.

It is believed to be the first monastery of the Sisters of St Jerome in Spain.

Further, we will continue our drive to Granada and check in to your hotel upon reaching.

Day 5
Guided city tour of Granada. Visit Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens. Orientation tour of Malaga. (B, L, and D)

Today, post breakfast we will get ready to explore Granada with a professional English-Speaking Guide.

Walk through the narrow streets covered in white houses, gardened patios and many springs that mix in harmony arabic and christian architecture.

On this tour, get a chance to marvel at the famous Puerta Elvira (Gate of Elvira),Puerta Monaita (Monaita Gate),Palacio de Dar-al-Horra, and Convent of Santa Isabel la Real.

We will also visit the Alhambra Palace, situated atop a hill overlooking Granada and is a fine example of Moorish art and architecture.

Walk through the halls and corridors of the Palace to know more about its history, architecture, tales of Moorish culture and the Islamic influence.

We will also visit the peaceful Generalife Gardens and royal chambers of the Nasrid Palace

Further, we will drive to the scenic coastal town of Malaga for an orientation tour.

Upon reaching, we will explore some attractions like - the Cathedral, Calle Larios, the Atarazanas Market, the Roman Theater and the Alcazaba.

Additionally, we will discover the peculiar history of Malaga with some secret legends and facts that will let you fall in love with this city.

Upon completing the sightseeing, we will head back to Garanada.

Overnight stay at the hotel in Granada.

Day 6
Transfer to Madrid. Enroute visit Toledo. (B, L, and D)

Wake up to a pleasant morning in Spain and have a hearty breakfast at the hotel.

Get ready and board your transfers to one of Europe's most dynamic capital and greenest cities - Madrid.

En route, we will visit the Imperial former capital city of Toledo, where we will walk through its narrow cobblestone streets, soaking up the medieval atmosphere.

We will also explore some of the iconic landmarks like the magnificent Gothic cathedral and St. Tome Church, where El Greco's masterpiece painting is displayed.

Next, we will visit the Toledo Sword Factory. Toledo steel is historically known for being unusually hard and hence, this city has been a center for traditional sword-making and metal-working.

It is said that the swords forged in Toledo, Spain, were once considered the finest in the world.

Further, we will continue our drive to Madrid - known for its historical buildings, food markets, numerous museums and art galleries.

Upon reaching, check-in and relax in the comforts of your hotel.

Day 7
Guided city tour of Madrid. Photo-stop at Royal Palace. Visit Bullfighting Ring. (B, L, and D)

After having our breakfast at the hotel, we will get ready and head out to explore Madrif with a local guide.

On this city tour, we will visit some popular attractions like the Puerta del Sol, the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the stately Alcala Gate, the busy Gran Via, the Plaza de España and the Plaza de Oriente.

Next, we will proceed to the Royal Palace of Madrid - the official residence of the Spanish Royal family, although now used only for state ceremonies.

It is the largest functioning royal palace and the largest by-floor area in Europe.

Later, we will also visit the famous Bullfighting Ring as for many, the image of Spain is closely associated with bullfights – an art that became popular in the early 12th century and is still very much alive.

After completing the sightseeing for the day, we will return to our hotel.

Day 8
Transfer to Valencia. Guided tour of Valencia. (B, L, and D)

Wake up to a pleasant morning in Madrid and have your breakfast at the hotel.

Get ready and board your transfers to Valencia - known for its vibrant culture, historical significance, and beautiful landscapes.

Upon reaching, meet an English-speaking guide and begin a guided tour through the historic center and visit the most famous monuments, with a focus on the city's 3 World Heritage properties.

We will visit the Silk Exchange (Lonja de la Seda), the Water Tribunal (Tribunal de las Aguas), and the Fallas (an annual festival featuring ephemeral art, fire, and fireworks).

Later, we will visit the famous vineyards of Valencia and discover the secrets of Valencian wine.

Here we will understand the ancient art of winemaking in Spain as you journey through the historic Utiel-Requena region.

Upon completing the sightseeing for the day, we will drive to our hotel and check-in.

Day 9
Transfer to Barcelona. Guided city tour of Barcelona. Visit Sagrada Familia. (B, L, and D)

Post breakfast at the hotel in the morning, get ready for the day.

Board your transfers to the much-awaited city of Barcelona - a city that seamlessly blends rich history, modern design, and a captivating cultural scene.

After a 4-hour drive, reach Barcelona and enjoy a guided walking tour of Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, with a professional English-speaking guide.

On this tour, we will see some of the historic monuments like the Saló del Tinell, the Capella de Santa Àgata and the Palau del Lloctinent.

Later, we will also visit the Olympic Village, Columbus Monument and Montjuïc Mountain where you will be able to see the Olympic Stadium and Plaza de Cataluna.

Further, explore the lively Ramblas - one of the most famous streets in Barcelona.

We will conclude the sightseeing tour by visiting the Sagrada Familia - a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor Basilica and is a one-of-a-kind temple, for its origins, foundation and purpose.

Five generations now have watched the Temple progress in Barcelona as it has been more than 135 years after the laying of the cornerstone, and construction still continues on the Basilica.

Day 10
Excursion to Montserrat. Free time at the lively Lam Ramblas. (B, L, and D)

After having a hearty breakfast at the hotel, get ready for the day.

Board your transfer as we will be taking one of the most popular day trips from Barcelona to Montserrat - a unique mountain range offering views over Catalonia.

This scenic 1-hour drive will take you through the scenic landscapes of the Catalan countryside.

Upon reaching, we will see the Basilica and Monastery on Montserrat, a beautiful, multi-peak mountain with dramatic rock formations.

Next, we will have some free time to continue exploring the museum, farmer's market, or views from the ridge of Cavall Bernat.

Later, we will return to the city and have some free time at Lam Ramblas - a culture and social hub that reflects the dynamic spirit of Barcelona.

Day 11
Departure. Head back with a lot of happy memories. (B)

Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast at the hotel.

Get ready and check out from the hotel to board your transfers to the airport.

Your amazing trip to Portugal and Spain concludes once you are dropped off at the airport for your onward journey.
