Jaisalmer City – Sam Sand Dunes – Jaisalmer City

This trip gives you a perfect taste of Jaisalmer’s beauty along with an unforgettable Jaisalmer Desert Safari experience. Your journey begins in the Golden City, where you explore the famous Jaisalmer Fort, walk through its old lanes, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Gadisar Lake.

By afternoon, you travel to the Sam Sand Dunes, where the real excitement of the Jaisalmer Desert Safari begins. You enjoy a thrilling jeep ride on the dunes, a relaxing camel ride, and a beautiful sunset over the golden desert. In the evening, you experience Rajasthani culture with folk dance, traditional music, a warm bonfire, and a tasty buffet dinner at your desert camp.

The next morning starts with a magical sunrise in the desert, one of the highlights of the Jaisalmer Desert Safari. After breakfast, you return to the city, where you can visit Patwon Ki Haveli or explore local markets if time permits. Your trip ends with a drop-off at the airport or railway station, leaving you with lovely memories of forts, lakes, dunes, culture, and the peaceful charm of the Jaisalmer desert.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Jaisalmer | Golden City Highlights & Desert Experience

Once you arrive in Jaisalmer, meet our representative who will help you with your transfers and guide you for the day.

Start your sightseeing with a visit to the famous Jaisalmer Fort, a living fort where people still stay inside its old walls.

Walk through its small lanes, see the temples, and enjoy the cafes and colourful shops.

Next, visit Gadisar Lake, a quiet and peaceful place with old ghats and shrines. Spend some time relaxing by the water and taking photos.

After enjoying the lake, drive to the Sam Sand Dunes for your desert experience.

On arrival, check in to your desert camp and get ready for a fun jeep safari across the golden dunes.

Later, enjoy a slow camel ride and watch a beautiful sunset over the desert.

In the evening, enjoy a cultural show with traditional Rajasthani music and dance, sit by the warm bonfire, and enjoy a tasty buffet dinner under the open sky.

End your day with a little stargazing before returning to your tent.

Day 2

Sunrise Over the Dunes & Return to Jaisalmer | Optional Visits

Wake up early to enjoy a peaceful sunrise over the Sam Sand Dunes, one of the most beautiful moments of the desert.

After sunrise, return to your camp for breakfast and complete your check-out.

Drive back to Jaisalmer city and continue your day depending on how much time you have.

If time allows, you can visit Patwon Ki Haveli or take a walk through Sadar Bazaar and Manak Chowk to buy handicrafts, leather items, and souvenirs.

After your short visit or shopping, head to the Jaisalmer Airport or Railway Station for departure.

Your Jaisalmer Desert Safari trip ends with wonderful memories of forts, lakes, dunes, culture, and the peaceful desert.

Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks, etc. (to be borne by the customer on the spot)
