Overview & Highlights

Delhi – Kasol – Manikaran Sahib – Chalal – Manali – Jogini Falls – Old Manali – Atal Tunnel – Sissu – Solang Valley – Delhi
You know that urge to escape the noise for a few days, trade traffic for rivers, and swap routines for mountain air? This Kasol–Manali trip hits that reset button without overcomplicating things.

It starts with an overnight journey from Delhi, and by the next morning, you’re in Kasol, where everything slows down. Think riverside cafés, pine forests, and that easygoing Parvati Valley vibe. You’ll visit Manikaran Sahib, where hot springs and spirituality come together, and take a short hike to Chalal Village, a quiet little escape just across the river.

Then the journey moves to Manali, where things get a bit more lively but still grounded in nature. A trek to Jogini Falls gives you that perfect mix of effort and reward, while Old Manali evenings are all about slow walks, good food, and doing nothing in particular.

The real shift comes when you drive through the Atal Tunnel into Lahaul. Suddenly, the landscape opens up, wider valleys, rougher terrain, and fewer crowds. Stops at Sissu and Solang Valley add just the right amount of drama to the journey.

What this trip really does is keep things simple. No rushing, no overpacking your days. Just the right balance of exploring and slowing down, with enough mountain moments to make you forget why you needed a break in the first place.
