Overview & Highlights

Delhi-Manali-Jispa-Purne-Padum-Kargil-Srinagar
This 8-day Zanskar Valley tour journey is a full-scale Himalayan road adventure that moves from Manali into the raw, untouched landscapes of Zanskar and ends in Srinagar. It is not a comfort-focused holiday. It is a route built for people who want long drives, high mountain passes, remote valleys, and places that still feel far away from mainstream tourism.
The trip begins in Delhi with an overnight Volvo ride to Manali, giving you a soft entry into the mountains. After a day of exploring Manali’s key spots like Hadimba Temple, Jogini Waterfall, Vashisht, and Old Manali cafés, the real ascent starts. From here, the road shifts from tourist-friendly hills to deeper Himalayan terrain.
You travel through the Atal Tunnel into Lahaul and reach Jispa, where the landscape becomes quieter and more dramatic. The route then pushes further into Zanskar via Shingo La Pass, entering remote villages like Purne and high-altitude regions that feel isolated and raw.
The core of the journey is Zanskar Valley, with the Phugtal Monastery trek, Stongdey, Karsha, waterfalls, and wide valley drives around Padum. From there, the route crosses Pensi La, Drang-Drung Glacier, and Rangdum before reaching Kargil.
The final stretch moves through Drass, Sonmarg, and Zojila Pass into Srinagar, before flying back home with a strong sense of having crossed multiple worlds in one continuous journey.
