Planning to take a refreshing monsoon trip? Well, you are just at the right place as we are going to take you to Meghalaya this monsoon! This Meghalaya Tour Package is a special community trip, which means fun unlimited in the lap of nature. Meghalaya is known as the “Abode of Clouds,” and during the monsoon, it looks even more beautiful with lush green forests and sparkling rivers. You will get to see amazing places like Umiam Lake, the living root bridges, and the mighty Nohkalikai Falls. Along with theme, we are also going to explore the mystic Arwah caves and few stunning viewpoints.
Every day brings a new adventure, whether it’s trekking through bamboo forests or enjoying local food in Shillong’s lively markets. This trip is perfect for anyone who loves nature, adventure, and making great memories. Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Guwahati. Transfer to Shillong via Umiam Viewpoint.

Arrive at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and meet our representative (Arrive before 11:30 AM).

Have breakfast and then board the transfers to Shillong - the capital of Meghalaya.

Enjoy the scenic ride and on the way, we will take a short stop for lunch.

After lunch, we will take a quick photo stop at the Umiam Lake viewpoint from where we will get stunning views of this beautiful man-made lake.

Soak in the surrounding views and click several pictures here.

Upon reaching Shillong by evening, check-in to your hotel and call it a day.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2

Shillong to Cherrapunjee | Nongjrong | Arwah Cave | Nohkalikai Falls

We’ll start very early, around 2:00–2:30 AM, and drive towards Nongjrong.

Wake up and enjoy your breakfast with a view.

Reach in time for the Nongjrong sunrise, which is the key highlight of the day.

This viewpoint is known for its sea of clouds with layered hills in the background, but the experience is completely weather dependent.

After spending some time here, we’ll begin the return journey towards Shillong (approx. 3–4 hours).

Check out from Hotel and start your journey towards Arwah Cave.

Spend your time awestruck by the amazing beauty.

Post lunch continue toward Cherrapunjee.

Reach Cherrapunjee and visit Nohkalikai Falls

Check in to the resort and Relax in the evening.

Day 3

Wei Sawdong Falls | Mawsmai Caves | Mawlynnong Village | Overnight at Cherrapunjee

Post breakfast, Start the Journey towards Wei Sawdong Falls

Later depart for Mawsmai Caves

After exploring the cave start the onwards journey to Mawlynnong Village

Mawlynnong, famed as the ‘Cleanest Village of Asia.’

Trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village, and take time to marvel at the exciting Balancing Rock.

After your trek, continue toward Cherrapunjee

Day 4

Day Trip to Double-Decker Living Root Bridges.

Wake up to a pleasant morning in Cherrapunji and have your breakfast at the hotel in the morning.

Next, we will get ready to board our transfers to the Tyrna village.

Here, begin the trek to the stunning double-decker living root bridges located in the Nongriat village.

On the way, we will first take a short stop on the single root bridge.

Next, we will descend almost 3300 steps to reach the stunning double-decker bridges.

Here, spend some time marvelling at the timeless bridges, walk on them, click pictures, swim in the water pond below.

After spending enough time around the bridge, we will start our hike back to the Tyrna Village.

Upon reaching, board our transfers back to Cherrapunji.

Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 5

Explore Mawlyngbna. Transfer to Shillong.

Post breakfast in the morning, get ready for the day.

Board the transfers, to begin with the sightseeing for the day.

We will start by visiting the Mawkdok Valley view point.

Continue the journey to one of the most spectacular Place - the Mawlyngbna.

Arrive in Mawlyngbna. Meet your guide for a quick briefing before the adventure begins.

River trek through lush monsoon trails and soak in Meghalaya’s raw wilderness. Optional cliff jumping into a natural pool for an adrenaline rush. Kayak on the serene Umkhakoi Lake, surrounded by cliffs and mist. Explore the unique Split Rock Formation, shaped over centuries.

Reach Shillong by evening and the spend the rest of the time exploring the local markets of Shillong.

Here, you can grab some souvenirs from the local craft shops or try the delicous Meghalayan food.

Complete the sightseeing and head back to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 6

Laitlum Canyon | Umiam Lake | Transfer to Guwahati

Enjoy your breakfast, Pack your bags and board your transfers to begin your journey towards Laitlum Canyon.

Spend some time here taking in the vast canyon views, where the hills stretch endlessly into the horizon.

Later, we will depart for Guwahati, enjoying a scenic journey along the way.

Before heading to Guwahati, we will make a short stop at Umiam Lake.

Here, we will spend some leisure time admiring the views, and click amazing postcard pefect photographs.

Then, we will continue our journey to Guwahati airport.

Your amazing monsoon Meghalaya adventure concludes once you are dropped off at the airport for your onward journey.
