Planning to take a refreshing monsoon trip? Well, you are just at the right place as we are going to take you to Meghalaya this monsoon! This Meghalaya Tour Package is a special community trip, which means fun unlimited in the lap of nature. Meghalaya is known as the “Abode of Clouds,” and during the monsoon, it looks even more beautiful with lush green forests and sparkling rivers. You will get to see amazing places like Umiam Lake, the living root bridges, and the mighty Nohkalikai Falls. Along with theme, we are also going to explore the mystic Arwah caves and few stunning viewpoints.
Every day brings a new adventure, whether it’s trekking through bamboo forests or enjoying local food in Shillong’s lively markets. This trip is perfect for anyone who loves nature, adventure, and making great memories. Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Guwahati. Transfer to Shillong via Umiam Viewpoint.

Arrive at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and meet our representative (Arrive before 11:30 AM).

Have breakfast and then board the transfers to Shillong - the capital of Meghalaya.

Enjoy the scenic ride and on the way, we will take a short stop for lunch.

After lunch, we will take a quick photo stop at the Umiam Lake viewpoint from where we will get stunning views of this beautiful man-made lake.

Soak in the surrounding views and click several pictures here.

Upon reaching Shillong by evening, check-in to your hotel and call it a day.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2

Shillong to Cherrapunjee | Laitlum Grand Canyon | Wei Sawdong Falls | Arwah Cave | Nohkalikai Falls

Wake up and enjoy your breakfast with a view.

Check out from Hotel and start your journey towards Laitlum Grand Canyon.

Afterwards visit the beautiful Wei Sawdong Falls

Later depart for Arwah Cave.

Spend your time awestruck by the amazing beauty.

Post lunch continue toward Cherrapunjee.

Reach Cherrapunjee and visit Nohkalikai Falls

Check in to the resort and Relax in the evening.

Day 3

Mawsmai Caves | Mawlynnong Village | Overnight at Cherrapunjee

Post breakfast, Visit Mawsmai Caves

Mawer to Mawlynnong Village.

Mawlynnong, famed as the ‘Cleanest Village of Asia.’

Trek to the Single Decker Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village, and take time to marvel at the exciting Balancing Rock.

After your trek, continue toward Cherrapunjee

Day 4

Day Trip to Double-Decker Living Root Bridges.

Wake up to a pleasant morning in Cherrapunji and have your breakfast at the hotel in the morning.

Next, we will get ready to board our transfers to the Tyrna village.

Here, begin the trek to the stunning double-decker living root bridges located in the Nongriat village.

On the way, we will first take a short stop on the single root bridge.

Next, we will descend almost 3300 steps to reach the stunning double-decker bridges.

Here, spend some time marvelling at the timeless bridges, walk on them, click pictures, swim in the water pond below.

After spending enough time around the bridge, we will start our hike back to the Tyrna Village.

Upon reaching, board our transfers back to Cherrapunji.

Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Day 5

Explore the popular places around Cherrapunji. Transfer to Shillong.

Post breakfast in the morning, get ready for the day.

Board the transfers, to begin with the sightseeing for the day.

We will start by visiting the Kynrem Falls - a majestic 3 tiered waterfall.

Later, we will visit the Bangladesh Viewpoint which offers stunning views of the Bangladesh plains.

Continue the journey to one of the most spectacular monsoon falls in the region - the Seven Sisters Waterfall, also known as Nohsngithiang Falls.

After admiring the beauty of this waterfall, we will take a short stop for lunch.

We will then board our transfers to Shillong with a short photo stop at the Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point which is surrounded by lush greenery and dramatic cliffs.

Reach Shillong by evening and the spend the rest of the time exploring the local markets of Shillong.

Here, you can grab some souvenirs from the local craft shops or try the delicous Meghalayan food.

Complete the sightseeing and head back to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 6

Departure. Transfer to Guwahati via Umaim Lake.

After having breakfast in the morning at the hotel, get ready for the day.

Pack your bags and board your transfers as we enjoy a scenic journey back to Guwahati.

Before heading to Guwahati, we will make a short stop at Umiam Lake.

Here, we will spend some leisure time admiring the views, and click amazing postcard pefect photographs.

Then, we will continue our journey to Guwahati airport.

Your amazing monsoon Meghalaya adventure concludes once you are dropped off at the airport for your onward journey.

Depart with a lot of happy memories.
