Overview & Highlights

Guwahati - Kaziranga - Jowai - Krem Chympe - Shnongpdeng - Dawki - Mawlynnong - Cherrapunjee - Double Decker Root Bridge - Shillong - Nongjrong - Wari Chora - Guwahati
Most Meghalaya trips stop at Shillong and Cherrapunjee. This Meghalaya group tour with Wari Chora takes a different route, covering deeper, lesser-explored regions, hidden caves, rivers, and a canyon that still feels undiscovered.

This 9-day journey begins as the route unfolds through offbeat gems like Jowai and the surreal Krem Chympe, a hidden cave system opening into a striking turquoise river. The experience shifts at Shnongpdeng and Dawki, where the crystal-clear Umngot River creates moments that feel almost unreal, especially when shared with your group.

Add to that the charm of Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, before heading into the dramatic landscapes of Cherrapunjee - home to waterfalls, caves, and the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge trek.

Just when it feels complete, the trip pushes further to Nongjrong for a surreal sunrise above the clouds, before heading into the remote Garo Hills. The finale at Wari Chora is something else entirely - a 300-foot canyon explored by boat, with towering rock walls and hidden waterfalls.

This isn’t just a Meghalaya trip, it’s the version most travellers don’t get to see.
