Udaipur - Saheliyon ki Bari - Fateh Sagar Lake - City Palace - Pichola Lake - Jawai - Udaipur

Get ready for a 4-day adventure in Rajasthan, full of beautiful palaces, peaceful lakes, wild animals, and amazing sunsets. We start in Udaipur, visiting the pretty Saheliyon ki Bari garden, exploring the Under the Sun Aquarium, and enjoying the sunset at Fateh Sagar Lake.

The next day, we see Udaipur’s royal history. Check out old cars at the Vintage & Classic Car Museum, explore the huge City Palace, and see the beautiful Jagdish Mandir. In the evening, take a boat ride on Pichola Lake and visit the local markets for some fun shopping.

On Day 3, we drive to Jawai, famous for hills, rivers, and wildlife. After reaching the camp, go on an evening safari to see leopards, hyenas, jackals, and birds. Watch the sunset, meet the local Rabari people, and enjoy a bonfire dinner under the stars.

On the last day, take a morning walk or watch birds, then drive back to Udaipur Airport with memories of wildlife, adventure, and nature.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Udaipur. Welcome to the City of Lakes

Upon your arrival in Udaipur in the morning, you will meet our representative, who will help you with your transfers to the hotel.

Check into the hotel and get ready to explore Udaipur.

We will begin the sightseeing by visiting Saheliyon ki Bari: a well-manicured garden built for the royal ladies with beautiful flowering trees, marble sculptures and fountains.

Visit Under the Sun Aquarium, which is located near Vibhuti Park and Fateh Sagar Lake, and is actually the largest Public Aquarium Gallery in India.

Enjoy the sunset near Fateh Sagar Lake & spend some quality time there.

After completing the day’s sightseeing, return to the hotel.

Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 2

Local Sightseeing in Udaipur. Visit the Vintage Car Museum & City Palace

After having your breakfast at the hotel, get ready for your day.

First, we will head to the Vintage and Classic Car Museum to have a look at the collection of cars of the royal family of Udaipur.

Afterwards, we will head out to explore the grand City Palace of Udaipur, which was built over a period of 400 years with a beautiful blend of Rajputana, Mughal and European architecture.

After exploring the City Palace, we will walk to the nearby Jagdish Mandir - an architectural wonder of the Mewar dynasty dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

In the evening, we will embark on a scenic sunset boat cruise on Pichola Lake that starts from the Rameshwar Ghat.

Later, we will take you to the markets of Udaipur to indulge in a shopping spree.

Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 3

Udaipur to Jawai | Evening Safari in Jawai

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Jawai - a place famous for its rocky hills, river dam, and wildlife.

Enjoy a 3-4 hour road journey from Udaipur to Jawai.

On arrival, check into your hotel and relax for some time.

Later, if you want, you can explore Jawai Bandh (Jawai Dam), a peaceful spot to see crocodiles, migratory birds, and enjoy the natural beauty before your safari.

In the evening, get ready for an adventurous safari in the Jawai Hills.

Spot leopards, hyenas, jackals, desert foxes, and many birds in their natural habitat.

Enjoy stunning sunset views over the rugged hills.

Interact with the local Rabari community and learn about their lifestyle.

Take amazing photographs of wildlife and landscapes.

End the evening with a bonfire under the stars, sharing stories and enjoying the wilderness.

After the safari, come back to the hotel and relax in the peaceful surroundings.

Overnight stay in Jawai.

Day 4

Departure - Udaipur Airport Drop

Wake up in the calm surroundings of Jawai and have breakfast at the camp.

If time allows, enjoy a short morning walk or a birdwatching tour.

Later, check out and transfer back to Udaipur Airport (around 3.5 hours) for your onward journey.

Your Rajasthan trip ends with taking home memories of adventure, wildlife, and Rajasthan’s natural beauty.
