Overview & Highlights

Delhi - Shimla - Chitkul - Kalpa - Kaza - Dhankar Monastery - Key Monastery - Hikkim - Komic - Langza - Kalpa - Shimla - Delhi
Spiti Valley, literally meaning the land between the magnificent India & majestical Tibet. This place is the epitome of magic. From beautiful landscape to a rich culture heritage- there is nothing you cannot find here! Seperated from Lahaul Valley by the soaring Kunzum La at 4551m, Spiti valley is a must visit destination in the months of October, November & December.

Moonscapes to Marvel Scattered villages, Spiti valley will surely make you forget about any other panorama you’ve ever seen.

The whitewashed mud-brick homes along with the perched Key Monastery looks exceptionally out of the world!

Rediscovering vintage Spiti is the place to revive love for the long lost things. This could be sending a postcard from the highest post office in the World, or go fossil hunting in the villages of Hikkim and Langza respectively. Langza welcomes you with a life size golden statue of Buddha. The sedimentary rocks of this village hide remains of plants & marine life which are millions of years old. Go see for yourself if you’re lucky enough to spot one!

Contrary to all shades of grey and white, a turquoise ribbon of the Spiti River will meet you as your near-constant companion, running along a broad valley before turning south at Sumdo into the precipitous gorges of the Hangrang Valley. Adding a cherry on top of the cake- we witness the beautiful landscape of Kinnaur, explore the quaint villages of Chitkul & Kalpa before continuing the journey to Spiti.

The approaches to Spiti remain among the most rugged and scenically spectacular roads in India, and that is why we want you to book our Spiti Valley Packages for 2024 and take that epic road trip with us, that too in the winters! With a group of like minded travellers, exploring a place like Spiti becomes even more fun. It’s never a journey instead a voyage that we take at WanderOn!

WanderOn is one of the best travel communities I have traveled with. Awesome folks, interesting fun activities across the trip. They provide comfortable transport, wonderful places for stay and delicious food(especially the food at their kaza camps). Their group leaders take care of everything including your health across the trip. Aayush, Ronit and Sandy - Great job guys! Keep up the good work and help everyone fulfilling their travel dreams! 😊

I am extremely happy with my Spiti tour of 5 days. Team captains(Maneesh,Gaurav and Ojas) have proven to be very friendly and helpful from the very beginning, they gave us information of each sight visiting locations, made our spirits high till the last day of our trip. Drivers were very professional, drove very smoothly on the deadliest roads and wanderOn accomodations was simply superb by somewhere providing camping with bonfire.Last but not least the food was delicious , provided us best facility.I highly recommend it, it will turn your trip into an unforgettable experience. 😊
