    Itinerary

    Day 1

    Chandigarh to Narkanda. (Distance: 175 kms, Duration: Approx 5-6 hours)

    Reach your pre-determined destination in Chandigarh from where you will collect your bikes.

    Gear up and get ready to begin your adventurous journey on your Spiti Valley tour.

    Begin your trip by first riding towards the beautiful town of Shimla.

    Pass some towns on the way like Kufri, Fagu and Theog.

    After approximately 5 hours of riding, you will reach Narkanda - the apple basket of India.

    Upon reaching, complete the check-in at the stay and spend the rest of the time at leisure.

    You can choose to rest or explore around.

    Overnight stay in Narkanda.

    Day 2

    Narkanda to Chitkul. Travel to the Last Village. (Distance: 180 kms, Duration: Approx 6-7 hours)

    Wake up to an exciting day and have your breakfast at the hotel.

    Later, we will get ready and rev up our bikes to head to Chitkul - the last Indian village on the Indo-China border.

    Ride along the scenic Sutlej River and pass the picturesque towns of Rampur Bushahr, and Sarahan.

    Later, we will enter the magnificent Kinnaur Valley.

    Continue the journey until Karcham and then take a right to ride along the Baspa River.

    Enjoy this adventurous ride along the high mountain peaks.

    We will also cross Sangla and Rackcham to reach Chitkul.

    Upon reaching, complete the check-in formalities and call it a day.

    Overnight stay in Chitkul.

    Day 3

    Chitkul to Kalpa. Day at Leisure. (Distance: 70 kms, Duration: Approx 2-3 hours)

    Wake up amidst the mountains and have your breakfast at the hotel.

    Later, we will spend some time on the banks of the Baspa river and take a quick photo stop at “Hindustan ka Aakhri Dhaba” in Chitkul.

    Later, we will hit the roads to enjoy a 3-hour journey to Kalpa.

    Kalpa is known for offering stunning views of the Kinner Kailash Peak which is the winter abode of Lord Shiva.

    Reach Kalpa and check-in at the hotel.

    You can then spend the rest of the time at leisure.

    Overnight stay in Kalpa.

    Day 4

    Kalpa to Kaza via Nako and Tabo. (Distance: 220 kms, Duration: Approx 5-6 hours)

    After breakfast in the morning, we will get ready for the day.

    Today, we will begin our adventurous ride and first stop at the Khab Sangam where the Spiti and Sutlej Rivers merge.

    Later, we will pass the treacherous Ka Loops and pass the scenic Nako village.

    Our next stop will be the Tabo Monastery - which is the oldest monastery in the Spiti Valley.

    Continue riding further through the rugged landscapes until we reach Kaza - the largest town in the Valley.

    Upon reaching Kaza, we will check-in at the stay and rest for the day.

    Have dinner to re-energize yourself after a long riding day.

    Overnight stay in Kaza.

    Day 5

    Local Sightseeing Around Kaza. (Distance: 85 kms, Duration: Approx 3-4 hours)

    Have your breakfast and start an exciting day on your Spiti Valley bike trip.

    Start the engines and get ready to explore some of the most beautiful high-altitude places.

    We will start by visiting the iconic Key Monastery - the largest monastery in the Spiti Valley that houses a rare collection of artifacts, thangkas and weapons.

    After exploring the monastery, we will ride to the highest suspension bridge in Asia - The Chicham Bridge.

    Further, we head to the highest inhabited regions of the world.

    Visit the highest motorable village in Asia - Komic located at a height of 4587 m.

    Later, we will visit Hikkim Village - home to the world’s highest post office.

    Here, you get a chance to send postcards to your loved ones from this post office.

    Next, we will visit the Langza Village which has existed since the prehistoric era as the area houses many marine fossils of plants and animals.

    Here, we will click pictures of the famous Buddha Statue and soak in the scenic landscapes.

    Complete your sightseeing for the day and ride back to Kaza.

    Overnight stay in Kaza.

    Day 6

    Kaza to Chandrataal. (Distance: 97 kms, Duration: Approx 4-5 hours)

    Wake up in the morning and have your breakfast.

    Get ready and hit the roads as we will ride towards the most awaited destination on this Spiti Valley trip.

    On the way, we will pass through the Rangrik, Pangmo and Losar Village - the last village of Spiti Valley.

    We will then reach the Kunzum Pass and a little ride further will take us to the campsite.

    Check in at the camps and take a short hike to the magnificent crescent-shaped Chandrataal.

    Spend some time around the lake, soaking in the stunning landscapes and clicking some postcard-perfect pictures.

    Return to the campsite and conclude the day with a dinner.

    Spend the night at the campsite under a million stars and try to spot the beautiful Milky Way.

    Overnight stay at Chandrataal.

    Day 7

    Chandrataal to Manali. (Distance: 111 kms, Duration: Approx 6-7 hours)

    Wake up to a pleasant morning at the campsite near Chandrataal.

    Have your breakfast at the campsite and get ready for the day.

    Today we will pass Batal, Chhatru and Koksar untill we reach the Atal Tunnel.

    Pass through the tunnel to reach Solang Valley - a hub of adventure activities.

    Continue the ride further to reach Manali and check-in at the hotel.

    You can then spend the rest of your time at leisure.

    You can either choose to relax or explore some parts of old Manali or even visit the Mall road.

    Overnight stay in Manali.

    Day 8

    Manali to Chandigarh. (Distance: 270 kms, Duration: Approx 6-7 hours)

    Have your breakfast at the hotel in the morning.

    Later gear up to complete the final stretch of this Spiti biking expedition.

    Get ready and hit the road and pass through the Kullu Valley, Mandi and Sundar Nagar.

    After a 6-hour bike journey, you will reach Chandigarh.

    Upon reaching, you will submit your bikes.

    Your adventurous Spiti Bike Trip concludes with a lot of memories to cherish.

    Any personal expenses like a tip to the drivers, entry to monuments/monasteries, camera/video camera charges, camel safari, river rafting, laundry, telephone bills, tips, etc

    Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot)

    Any damage to the bike except engine damage must be borne by the client.
