Overview & Highlights

Delhi - Shimla - Chitkul - Kalpa - Kaza - Dhankar - Key Monastery - Hikkim - Komic - Langza - Kalpa - Delhi
If you’ve been dreaming of a real Himalayan adventure, the Spiti Valley Winter Expedition is the holy grail for travelers. We’re talking about a journey into the "Middle Land" that looks like a literal postcard come to life. This Spiti Valley and Sangla Holi trip is designed for those who want to witness the most dramatic landscapes and authentic cultural experiences in India.
One of the best parts of this trip is experiencing Holi in Sangla. It’s a world away from city chaos, a soulful mix of ancient folklore and mountain traditions. You'll join the locals for traditional dances and fly colors against a backdrop of snow-capped Kinner-Kailash peaks.
This winter Spiti Valley tour takes you through the legendary rock-cut tunnels of the Kinnaur Valley to Chitkul, the last Indian village before the border, wrapped in a heavy blanket of winter snow. Over these 7 days, you’ll see the scenery shift from the lush, green pine forests of Shimla to the rugged, cold desert mountains of Spiti.
This Spiti Valley and Sangla Holi tour covers everything that makes the region legendary: the 1,000-year-old Tabo Monastery, the iconic Key Monastery, and the Chicham Bridge, Asia’s highest suspension bridge. You’ll even visit Hikkim to send a postcard from the world’s highest post office and Komic, the highest village connected by a motorable road.
What’s stopping you now? Plan your Spiti valley trip with WanderOn today for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

WanderOn is one of the best travel communities I have traveled with. Awesome folks, interesting fun activities across the trip. They provide comfortable transport, wonderful places for stay and delicious food(especially the food at their kaza camps). Their group leaders take care of everything including your health across the trip. Aayush, Ronit and Sandy - Great job guys! Keep up the good work and help everyone fulfilling their travel dreams! 😊

I am extremely happy with my Spiti tour of 5 days. Team captains(Maneesh,Gaurav and Ojas) have proven to be very friendly and helpful from the very beginning, they gave us information of each sight visiting locations, made our spirits high till the last day of our trip. Drivers were very professional, drove very smoothly on the deadliest roads and wanderOn accomodations was simply superb by somewhere providing camping with bonfire.Last but not least the food was delicious , provided us best facility.I highly recommend it, it will turn your trip into an unforgettable experience. 😊
