Starting Day

Delhi To Shimla | Overnight Journey

Leave Delhi late in the evening and begin your journey towards Shimla.

Enjoy the overnight drive through scenic mountain roads as you make your way to the beautiful hills of Himachal Pradesh.

Day 1

Shimla To Kalpa [Distance: Approx 215km, Duration: 9-10 Hours]

Start your journey from Shimla towards Kalpa, enjoying the beautiful mountain landscapes and winding roads of Kinnaur Valley.

Reach Kalpa by late afternoon and check into your hotel or homestay.

Attend a briefing about the upcoming Spiti Valley adventure and get familiar with the journey ahead.

Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and acclimatising to the high-altitude surroundings.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Kalpa.

Day 2

Kalpa To Tabo via Nako Lake & Ka Loops [Distance: Approx 215km, Duration: 9-10 Hours]

Wake up early, have breakfast, and begin your journey towards Spiti Valley.

Enter Spiti Valley through the Sumdo Border and witness the dramatic change in landscapes as you travel through the cold desert region.

En route, visit the beautiful Nako Lake, surrounded by mountains and the peaceful charm of Nako Village.

Continue your drive through the famous Ka Loops, enjoying the scenic mountain roads on the way to Tabo.

Reach Tabo by evening and check into your homestay.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Tabo.

Day 3

Tabo to Kaza via Dhankar Monastery [Distance: Approx 50 km, Duration: 3-4 Hours]

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before heading out to explore the ancient monasteries and scenic landscapes of Spiti Valley.

Begin with a visit to Tabo Monastery, one of the oldest functioning Buddhist monasteries in the Himalayas, known for its ancient murals and spiritual significance.

Next, we will head further to visit the famous Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff overlooking the Spiti Valley.

Enjoy spectacular views of the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers from the monastery surroundings.

Further, visit the frozen Lingti Waterfall, a beautiful natural attraction along the Lingti River, a tributary of the Spiti River.

Later, continue your drive towards Kaza and check into your homestay.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 4

Explore Key Monastery, Chicham Bridge & Kibber Village

Wake up early, have breakfast, and get ready to explore some of the most iconic attractions of Spiti Valley.

First, visit Key Monastery, the largest monastery in Spiti Valley, known for its hilltop location, ancient Buddhist heritage, and stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Continue your drive towards Chicham Bridge, one of Asia's highest suspension bridges, offering breathtaking views of the deep gorge below.

Click some fun group photos with your all-girls group who have joined you on this adventure.

Further, visit Kibber Village, a beautiful high-altitude Himalayan settlement famous for its traditional houses, scenic landscapes, and snow leopard sightings during winter.

Spend some time exploring the village and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Return to Kaza by evening.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 5

Explore Langza, Komic & Hikkim Villages

Wake up in the morning and enjoy breakfast before heading out to explore the famous high-altitude villages of Spiti Valley.

Begin with a scenic drive to Langza, popularly known as the fossil village, famous for its ancient marine fossils and stunning mountain views.

Visit the iconic Buddha statue in Langza, surrounded by the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayas.

Next, head to Komic, one of the world's highest villages connected by a motorable road, known for its remote location and breathtaking landscapes.

Continue towards Hikkim Village, home to the world's highest post office, where you can send postcards to your loved ones.

Spend some time exploring the villages and experiencing the unique culture and peaceful atmosphere of Spiti.

Return to Kaza by evening.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 6

Kaza to Rampur [Distance: Approx 380 km, Duration: 9 - 10 Hours]

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before checking out of your homestay in Kaza.

Begin your journey towards Rampur, leaving behind the rugged landscapes and high-altitude villages of Spiti Valley.

Enjoy the scenic drive through the mountains, passing beautiful valleys, winding roads, and picturesque Himalayan landscapes along the way.

Reach Rampur by night and check into your hotel.

Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Rampur.

Day 7

Rampur To Shimla | Overnight Journey To Delhi

Wake up, enjoy breakfast, and spend some time at leisure before checking out of your hotel.

Begin your journey towards Shimla, enjoying the scenic mountain views along the way.

Board your vehicle and begin the overnight drive towards Delhi, carrying wonderful memories of your women-only Spiti Valley group trip.

Last Day

Arrival In Delhi | Trip Ends

Reach Delhi by around 8:00 AM, marking the end of your Spiti Valley group trip.

Return with unforgettable memories of the beautiful Himalayan landscapes, ancient monasteries, high-altitude villages, and incredible experiences shared with your fellow travellers.

NOTES:
Access to high altitude regions of Spiti Valley, especially Hikkim, Komik, Langza Village and Pin Valley etc may be blocked during winter months due to excessive snowfall. Hence, the visit to these locations is weather dependent. In such a case, we will look for the best possible alternatives, as feasible.
Travellers residing outside Delhi are suggested to book trains/flights reaching Delhi not later than 4 PM on the trip start date. Similarly, on trip end date, book returning flight/trains leaving post 2 PM.
Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc. may cause itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing.
You will be travelling to High Altitude cold desert places of India. It's advisable to consult your personal doctors for any sort of medical awareness before travelling. There are very few medical facilities/hospitals available at such remote locations and WanderOn shall not be responsible for any such of Medical emergency thus occurred. However any kind of support with respect to arranging logistics will be arranged if required and the expenses shall be borne by the clients. Please consult your personal doctor and we advise you to be physically fit and healthy before travelling. Do mention any sort of prior health issues before travelling so that we can advise you correctly.

Accommodation in Homestay/Hotel on Dbl/Triple sharing basis

GST (5%) is applicable extra.

Any kind of food or beverage that is not included in the package like alcoholic drinks, mineral water, meals/refreshments/lunches on the highway.

Any personal expenses like a tip to the drivers, entry to monuments/monasteries, camera/video camera charges, laundry, telephone bills, tips, etc

Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc. (to be borne directly by the customer on the spot)

Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.

Fuel is not included in self drive option

In the event of extreme winter conditions, where snow may prevent the use of tempo travellers, we will opt for 4x4 vehicles to ensure safety and accessibility. Please note that any additional costs incurred for the 4x4 vehicle will be borne by the clients.

Indian travellers do not need any permit to visit the main Spiti Valley circuit. However, certain areas near the border may require a valid identification, upon asking, so, just carry your valid photo ID. As for the vehicle permits, we will take care of that so you have a smooth trip.
