  • Looking for a mountain road trip where you can spend your days on scenic Himalayan roads, explore remote villages, visit ancient monasteries, and watch the landscape change from green valleys to barren mountains? This Spiti Valley trip from Delhi by WanderOn brings together the quieter side of Kinnaur and Spiti, with plenty of time to explore places like Sangla, Chitkul, Kalpa, Tabo, and Kaza instead of rushing from one famous spot to another.

  • The journey starts with an overnight Volvo from Delhi to Shimla, followed by a private vehicle journey through the mountains. Travel from Shimla to Sangla, visit Chitkul, and continue to Kalpa before heading deeper into Spiti. The route takes you through Nako and Tabo, where old monasteries, small Himalayan settlements, and changing mountain landscapes become part of the journey. By the time you reach Kaza, the valleys of Kinnaur have given way to the stark, high-altitude terrain that makes Spiti so distinctive.

  • The Kaza experience is where the road trip really opens up. Visit Dhankar Monastery, Key Monastery, and Chicham Bridge, then spend a full day exploring Langza, Komic, and Hikkim. There is something special about driving through these high-altitude villages, stopping for mountain views, and seeing how differently life looks in this remote part of Himachal. With a private vehicle for the Shimla–Spiti–Shimla journey, internal sightseeing, and 7 nights of accommodation, the focus stays on experiencing the valley rather than managing the logistics yourself.

  • This WanderOn Spiti Valley trip is made for travellers who enjoy long mountain drives, remote villages, monastery visits, changing landscapes, and a slower way of exploring the Himalayas. Your stay, daily breakfast and dinner, permits, tolls, parking, driver allowance, and an oxygen cylinder are included, while the Delhi–Shimla Volvo transfers take care of the start and end of the journey.
