Odisha To Introduce World’s First Dark Tiger Safari

Odisha is all set to introduce the world’s First Dark Tiger Safari, offering glimpses of the lives of these beautiful creatures resting in their habitat. This Dark Tiger Safari is going to be an exclusive safari experience with three melanistic tigers. 

These tigers are one of a kind with distinct dark and dense stripes, that are said to be found in the Similipal Tiger Reserve. This initiative is going to help boost tourism in the area attracting more tourists. 

The Similipal Tiger Reserve located in Mayurbhanj is the exclusive habitat for these majestic creatures, with stripes that are comparatively darker and denser than their counterparts all around the world. 

The project aims to raise awareness about the critical conditions of the black tigers, and the need to conserve them.
