Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House was constructed in the very secure area of Al Shindagha in the year 1896. This house was particularly designed as a safety net for the then-ruler of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. 

It served as the residence of Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum from the year 1912 till the year 1958, during which his many children and grandchildren were born, and all of them grew up in this house.
