The most famous waterfall in Goa, Dudhsagar means the Sea of Milk owes its name to a myth. This was the favoured place of a beautiful princess who used to have a bath in a lake close to the Mandovi River every day. After the bath, she usually drinks sweetened milk from a golden jug.

Once, while having a bath in the lake, she glimpsed a handsome prince staring at her. At that second, she spewed the milk from the Golden jug to create a white virtual curtain in front of her, choking the view through the lake’s crystal-clear water. According to the parable, the milk nonetheless cascades down the mountain slope in the honour of princess’s integrity.

In Ladakh, find the perfect blend of culture, adventure, and serenity. December last year I decided that my next trip would be Ladakh but didn’t know how to go about it. I knew I wanted to travel in a group, as I had prior experiences of traveling in a group but wanted an organiser I could trust. Ladakh isn’t like other destinations wherein you need some instructions due to the high altitudes.
