Pink Taxi Mahakumbh: Empowering Women Drivers At Mahakumbh Mela 2025

Uttar Pradesh is set to launch an innovative “Pink Taxi” service for the upcoming Mahakumbh Mela, featuring a fleet of 300 E-rickshaws operated exclusively by women drivers. The initiative, launched by startup Comfy E Mobility, aims to provide safe and comfortable transportation for female passengers in Prayagraj and the Kumbh Mela region.

The eco-friendly vehicles come equipped with advanced safety features like:

GPS tracking
Fully enclosed designs, and
Transparent fare systems

To ensure high-quality service, all women drivers will undergo comprehensive training focusing on customer service, communication skills, and technology use.
