Itinerary Of Hirpora Lakes Trek 

  • Day 1 ( Arrival)- 
  1. Arrive Srinagar, do check that there are so many things to do in Srinagar.
  2. Take a cab or bus from Srinagar Airport  or bus stand.
  3. Reach hotel.
  • Day 2 (Srinagar to Chandimarh Drive)-
  1. Checkout from hotel and drive to Chandimarh.
  2. It will take around 5 hours to reach.
  3. You will reach “ The Pir Ki Gali” which is the highest mountain pass. Stay in a camp for a better experience. 
  • Day 3 ( Chandimarh to Derah Lake)-
  1. After breakfast, start your climb.

  3. After the Girjan meadow you will reach Dehra meadow overnight.
  • Day 4 (Derah to Khuan)-
  1. You will be trekking to Khuan meadow.
  2. There are alpine forests which you will encounter while trekking.
  3. After Panjdhari army camp, you will reach Khuan meadow.
  • Day 5 ( Khuan to Neelsar Lake)-
  1. You will be reaching to Neelsar lake through Byaad meadows.
  2. Stay there overnight.
  3. You  can visit Dingsar, Gumsar lakes while trekking. 
  • Day 6 ( Neelsar to Chandansar Lake via Barhal Pass)-
  1. You will be trekking through Katori lake and meadows.
  2. When you cross the pass, you will reach the long path.
  • Day 7 ( Trek to Laksukh and Handu Sar Lakes)-
  1. It’s a challenge to reach the highest mountain pass of the trail.
  2. You will encounter 2 lakes which are Laksukh Sar and Handu Sar.
  • Day 8 ( Chandansar  to Nandarar Lake )-
  1. This is the last day of your trek, wake up early and after a few hours of walking you will arrive at Nandarar Lake.
  2. Post trek you can reach back to your hotel.
