When you are commencing from Srinagar, you’ll initially need to secure a shared cab to Anantnag. From there, you’ll have to arrange additional transportation to Kokernag, followed by another cab to reach Sinthan Top. The return trip would entail following the same route.

Tradition holds that it was commissioned by Mughal Empress Nur Jahan, the wife of Emperor Jahangir. Subsequently, the garden was reconstructed on a smaller scale by Dogra King Gulab Singh.

One of its most captivating features is its irrigation by a sacred mountain spring from the neighboring hill.
