The bridge is designed to mirror the iconic bow and arrow of Lord Ram and symbolize courage and fortitude. The Sky Glass Walk in Chitrakoot, supported by a generous investment of INR 3.70 crore, is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, led by the Forest and Tourism Department. It aims to position Chitrakoot as one of the top-tier tourist hotspots, showcasing the region’s rich cultural heritage and natural glory to the world.
The site, formerly known as Shabri Waterfall is now renowned by the name of Tulsi Waterfalls. The government has brought this alteration in name to honour Goswami Tulsidas and his birthplace in Rajapur.
The sacred shrine of Lord Ram also makes it a desirable tourist place, especially for his devotees. Around the bridge, they’ve made a beautiful area called ‘Kodand Van’, where people can relax and enjoy nature’s beauty peacefully. The iconic Sky Glass Walk in UP indicates its potential to become a standout attraction within the eco-tourism hub of the said region and is scheduled for inauguration after the Lok Sabha Elections.
This sprawling structure is constructed by the recognized Ghazipur-based Pawan Sut Construction Company with a length of 25 meters and a width of 35 meters between its sturdy pillars, the bridge offers both aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.
It is engineered to withstand a load capacity of 500 kg per square meter which ensures safety and comfort for visitors who are eager to visit this exciting addition to the scenic sights of UP.
With anticipation building among tourists and locals, the unveiling of the first glass skywalk bridge of Uttar Pradesh marks not only a triumph of engineering prowess but also a celebration of cultural heritage and devotion to uplifting roots.
Promising an unforgettable experience for all who visit the Sky Glass Walk in UP, the bridge stands as a statement of the collaborative effort and visionary planning and as plans are being made for the creation of additional facilities such as parks, botanical gardens, and dining establishments, the Sky Walk bridge is positioned to foster more tourism and evolve into a beloved landmark sitting within the nature and wilderness of Chitrakoot.
