This is one of the Historical places in the world  and is known as a UNESCO World Heritage site served as the political and cultural center of the Nguyen Dynasty. It was built back in the year of 1803 by Gia Long who was the first ruler of the Nguyen Dynasty. 

From then it served as the Imperial seat of government for a long period. It endured heavy bombing throughout the 20th century during conflicts with the French and the Americans.

Timings to Visit: You can visit the Imperial Palace between 8am in the morning and 5.30 pm.
