Ladakh Group Tour Packages for 2026

WanderOn runs 15+ Ladakh group tour packages with fixed departures from May to October, designed for solo travelers, college gangs, and everyone in between. Our trips span 6 to 11 days, with group Ladakh bike trip packages starting at just ₹18,499 per person. Choose from our Ladakh group tour packages from Delhi, Ladakh group tour packages from Mumbai, and Ladakh group tour packages from Pune, some with flights bundled in, others without  or customize a trip and bring your own tribe along.
Every itinerary covers the spots that truly matter like Pangong Lake at first light, the wind-whipped Khardung La, Nubra Valley's twin-humped camels, Hanle's starlit skies, and the fluttering prayer flags above Thiksey Monastery. And while you soak it all in, a dedicated trip captain handles the permits, oxygen support, stays, and every small high-altitude headache in between.
But honestly, the real reason most travelers come back isn't the views, it's the people. By Day 3, you've got 15 new friends. By Day 7, there's a buzzing WhatsApp group that refuses to go quiet even after the trip ends. So pick a date, pack light, and leave the rest to us.

Why Choose WanderOn For Ladakh Group Tours?

  • Fixed Departures: Every Ladakh group tour we list is confirmed. No "we need two more bookings" cancellations.

  • A Community, Not Just a Tour Group: 12 to 20 travellers from across India, sharing buses, breakfasts and bonfires.
  • Hassle-Free Planning: Permits, hotels, transport, oxygen cylinders and food. We handle it. You show up with a backpack.
  • Verified Stays & Transport: Every hotel scouted in person. Every driver is vetted. Every bike serviced before the batch rolls out.
  • On-Ground Support: Backup vehicles on all convoys, first aid kit in Ladakh, Satellite phones and base support 24x7.
  • Safety Built Into The Itinerary: A full acclimatisation day in Leh before pushing higher. Oxygen cylinders ride with the group.

Types of Ladakh Group Tours by WanderOn

Backpacking Group Tours

For travelers who care more about the journey than the thread count, our backpacking group tours in Ladakh keep things affordable and adventurous. Expect shared rooms, group meals at local cafes, shared transport across the passes, and a no-frills route that hits every iconic stop without draining your wallet.

Group Bike Trips

Nothing beats riding a Himalayan or Classic 350 over Khardung La with 14 other riders rolling alongside. Our group Ladakh bike trips include certified bike marshals, mechanical support vehicles, fuel at remote points, and a pre-trip orientation. Pillion-friendly options are available too, so non-riders need to just join the convoy and enjoy various things to do in Ladakh.

Festival-Based Departures

Plan your group trip around the Hemis Festival or other Ladakh Summer Festivals. These fixed departures sync the itinerary with the celebrations, so you'll catch masked Cham dances, local food fairs, and traditional music alongside your usual sightseeing.
Premium Ladakh Group Departures
For travellers who want the social vibe without compromising on comfort, our premium group tours in Ladakh pair small batches with boutique stays, private cabs, and chef-prepared meals. These packages do not include the Ladakh group tour package with flights; however, if you need it, we can get it bundled in from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru or other cities at extra costs.

Offbeat & Long Circuit Tours

Hanle, Umling La, Tso Moriri, Turtuk, our offbeat Leh Ladakh group trip itineraries go beyond the standard circuit. These 10–12 day trips suit experienced travellers who want quieter villages, darker night skies, and remote stretches most tourists never reach.

Ladakh Tour Packages from Multiple Cities

Getting to Ladakh from a busy city can feel like a project in itself. So we’ve made it effortless with departures from key cities across India. If you're booking a Ladakh trip from Delhi, you can choose between a quick flight to Leh or a proper road journey via Manali or Srinagar, as both options have their own charm, honestly. Travelers going on a Ladakh trip from Mumbai usually prefer flying; however, the cost of it is not included in the package cost.
All our packages offer sightseeing places like Pangong, Nubra, Khardung La and more. And for those heading out on a Ladakh trip from Pune, we’ve kept it budget-friendly with shared accommodation, smooth transfers, and a bunch of like-minded travel buddies to share the ride. No matter where you're starting from, Ladakh makes the journey feel worthwhile.

Essential Information Before Booking

Here’s all you need to know before traveling to Ladakh in 2026:
  • Best Time To Visit: Mid-April to mid-October is the best time to visit Ladakh. June and July for full road access, September for clearer skies and thinner crowds.
  • How To Reach Ladakh From Delhi: Most travellers fly into Leh from Delhi (just 1.5 hours via direct flight). Road routes via Manali or Srinagar are popular with riders and long-circuit groups.
  • Ideal Group Size: Our Leh group tour batches usually run with 12-20 travellers, large enough for great friendships and small enough that no one gets lost.
  • AMS & Acclimatisation: Leh sits at 11,500 ft. Day 1 is for rest, water (4-5 liters), and skipping alcohol. Acclimatization to avoid acute mountain sickness in Ladakh is a must.
  • Packing Essentials: Thermal wear, windproof jacket, rugged hiking shoes, sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, power bank, and prescription medicines.
  • Travel Permits: Inner Line Permits are required for Nubra, Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri, and Hanle. Your trip captain arranges these; you just need a copy of your government ID.
  • Shared Accommodation: Twin and triple-sharing rooms are standard. Solo travellers are paired with same-gender roommates by default. Single occupancy available at extra cost.

Travel Etiquette for Group Travelers

Here are some travel tips for Ladakh that can make a group trip to Ladakh smoother for everyone:
  • Be on time. Whether it's the morning departure, a lunch break, or a sightseeing stop, the whole group waits when one person runs late. Setting an alarm 10 minutes early is very helpful.
  • Come prepared. Carry all essential things to carry for Ladakh like safety gear and a first aid kit. When everyone in the group is well-prepared, there's less last-minute borrowing and more time to actually enjoy the ride.
  • Be open to making new friends. You will be sharing cabs, meals, and rooms with strangers that soon become trip buddies. Say hello, swap stories, and don't stick to your phone.
  • If you are sharing a room, be considerate. Keep your stuff on your side, don't hog the bathroom in the morning, and try not to make calls or play videos loudly when your roommate's resting.
  • Inside the tempo traveller or cab, rotate seats fairly. The window seat is everyone's favorite, so let's not make it a thing. Also, keep the volume of your music or reels in check; earphones are a blessing here.
  • Listen to your trip leader. They've done this route many times and know what works. There is a reason behind it, generally when they tell you to stay at a stop or stick to a timing.
  •  Take care of each other. If someone's feeling the altitude, offer water or call the trip leader. If someone's quiet, include them in the conversation. These small things turn a group of strangers into a proper travel family.
  • Respect monastery customs, remove your shoes, speak softly, and ask before photographing monks. As a group, our presence is louder, so we need to be extra mindful in sacred spaces.
  • Carry a reusable water bottle and skip the plastic at every chai stop. When 12 people in a group avoid plastic, it actually makes a real difference.
  • Be patient on Day 1. Altitude hits everyone differently; some adjust quickly, others need a slower start. Don't rush your group mates, and don't push yourself either.
  • In scenic spots, keep music low or off. The group came here for the silence as much as the views, so let everyone soak it in their own way.
  • Leave no trace. Pick up your trash, even when no one's watching, and if you spot a co-traveler's wrapper left behind, just grab it. We're a team out here.
