Essential Information Before Booking

• Best Time To Visit: Mid-April to mid-October is the best time to visit Ladakh. June and July for full road access, September for clearer skies and thinner crowds.
• How To Reach Ladakh From Delhi: Most travellers fly into Leh from Delhi (just 1.5 hours via direct flight). Road routes via Manali or Srinagar are popular with riders and long-circuit groups. 
• Ideal Group Size: Our Leh group tour batches usually run with 12-20 travellers, large enough for great friendships and small enough that no one gets lost.
• AMS & Acclimatisation: Leh sits at 11,500 ft. Day 1 is for rest, water (4-5 liters), and skipping alcohol. Acclimatization to avoid acute mountain sickness in Ladakh is a must.
• Packing Essentials: Thermal wear, windproof jacket, rugged hiking shoes, sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, power bank, and prescription medicines. 
• Travel Permits: Inner Line Permits are required for Nubra, Pangong Lake, Tso Moriri, and Hanle. Your trip captain arranges these; you just need a copy of your government ID.

Travel Etiquette for Group Travelers

• Be on time. Whether it's the morning departure, a lunch break, or a sightseeing stop, the whole group waits when one person runs late. Setting an alarm 10 minutes early is very helpful.
• Come prepared. Carry all essential things to carry for Ladakh like safety gear and a first aid kit. When everyone in the group is well-prepared, there's less last-minute borrowing and more time to actually enjoy the ride. 
• Be open to making new friends. You will be sharing cabs, meals, and rooms with strangers that soon become trip buddies. Say hello, swap stories, and don't stick to your phone.
• If you are sharing a room, be considerate. Keep your stuff on your side, don't hog the bathroom in the morning, and try not to make calls or play videos loudly when your roommate's resting.
• Inside the tempo traveller or cab, rotate seats fairly. The window seat is everyone's favorite, so let's not make it a thing. Also, keep the volume of your music or reels in check; earphones are a blessing here.
• Listen to your trip leader. They've done this route many times and know what works. There is a reason behind it, generally when they tell you to stay at a stop or stick to a timing.
•  Take care of each other. If someone's feeling the altitude, offer water or call the trip leader. If someone's quiet, include them in the conversation. These small things turn a group of strangers into a proper travel family.
• Respect monastery customs, remove your shoes, speak softly, and ask before photographing monks. As a group, our presence is louder, so we need to be extra mindful in sacred spaces.
• Carry a reusable water bottle and skip the plastic at every chai stop. When 12 people in a group avoid plastic, it actually makes a real difference.
• Be patient on Day 1. Altitude hits everyone differently; some adjust quickly, others need a slower start. Don't rush your group mates, and don't push yourself either.
• In scenic spots, keep music low or off. The group came here for the silence as much as the views, so let everyone soak it in their own way.
