You can reach Baltal Valley in Kashmir by hiring a taxi or other private vehicle from Sonmarg, which is around 15 kilometers away. You can also hire a taxi from Srinagar, which is approximately 100 kilometers from Baltal, Jammu and Kashmir. Tourists enjoy the drive along the Sindh River on the Srinagar-Leh highway.

It’s known for its ice lingam, which forms naturally inside the cave.

Sonamarg is 15 kilometers from Baltal, Jammu and Kashmir. Sonamarg, also known as “Meadow of Gold,”  is a hill station located at an altitude of 2800 meters that is worth capturing. A majestic glacier, meadow, dense forests, and snow-capped mountains make Sonmarg an ideal holiday destination in Kashmir.

This place is blessed with its magnificent beauty and is overlooked by the Thajiwas Mountains. Thajiwas Glacier is surrounded by meadows and frozen lakes, and it is one of the most beautiful sights you will ever come across. Tourists visit Thajiwas Glacier to enjoy its breathtaking sights and build snowmen.

Srinagar: Sonmarg is the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir, about 100 kilometers from Baltal Valley. Known for its Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens, and houseboats, it’s a must-visit destination for tourists visiting Kashmir.

Gulmarg: Around 150 kilometers from Baltal, it is known for its beauty, ski resorts, and the world’s second-highest operating cable car, which is the Gulmarg Gondola.

Betaab Valley: Located almost 15 kilometers from Pahalgam, Betaab Valley was originally known as Hagan Valley or Hagoon but came to be known by its present name and became extremely famous after the movie Betaab, which was shot here. It’s renowned for its picturesque landscapes and lush greenery.
