IndiGo Flight Cancellations Delhi Fog
Thick fog in Delhi is making life difficult for travellers again. IndiGo decided to cancel some of their early morning flights ahead of time to save passengers from long waits at the airport.
"Early-morning fog is expected to affect visibility across #Delhi. A few flights scheduled for tomorrow have been cancelled in advance to help reduce waiting time at the airport," the airline posted on X.
Air India Fog Advisory Delhi Flights
Air India has also put out a warning for passengers. The airline said that the heavy fog and low visibility in Delhi and nearby northern areas could mess up their flight timings. What's worse? Any delays or cancellations in the morning could create a domino effect, affecting flights throughout the entire day.
The good news is that Air India fog advisory Delhi flights includes their FogCare program. "Passengers booked on select flights during the fog window will continue to receive advance alerts under our FogCare initiative, with the option to change flights without additional payment or seek a full refund without penalty," the airline assured travellers.

Delhi Airport Visibility and Flight Delays
The pollution levels in Delhi hit 311 on the Air Quality Index – that's in the 'very poor' zone. The thick fog and cold aren't helping, as pollutants are just sitting near the ground with nowhere to go.
Temperature readings across the city showed the mercury hovering between 8-9 degrees Celsius in the morning. Safdarjung recorded 9.1 degrees, while areas like Ayanagar saw even colder conditions at 8.1 degrees.
The weather department is warning about a cold wave hitting parts of Delhi between January 2-5. With Delhi NCR flight disruptions due to fog expected to continue, and temperatures barely reaching 18 degrees during the day, it's going to be a rough few days ahead!
