1. Check Before You Leave Home: Don't rush to the airport blindly. With Delhi airport flight cancellations due to fog happening without warning, call your airline or check their app for real-time updates to avoid a wasted trip.
2. Pack Your Patience (and Snacks): Dense fog Delhi visibility slashed to dangerous levels, meaning delays could stretch for hours. Bring water, phone chargers, and something to keep you occupied.
3. Stay Flexible With Your Plans: If your flight gets cancelled or heavily delayed, ask your airline about rebooking options immediately. The earlier you act, the better your chances of getting an alternative flight.
4. Monitor Weather Forecasts: Fog typically lifts by late morning, so if you have flexibility in booking, afternoon flights have better chances of operating smoothly than early morning departures.
