4. Pensi La

It is situated at a height of 4,400 metres and connects the Suru Valley region to the Zanskar Valley. The pass is 25 km from Rangdum Monastery. Pensi La is also a gateway to Padum, the headquarters of Zanskar.

1. Baralacha La

Another popular pass to cover during Leh Ladakh bike trip is the Baralacha La which is known for its popular belief wherein a trio of soldiers were trapped here for two months, and after military vehicles reached, a stranger was found in the cabin eating one of the soldiers, the bodies were in pieces and have been half-eaten.
