Summer is considered to be the safest and best time to visit Langza Village in Spiti Valley. This monastery is considered to be around 800 years old and still stands tall as the testament of the culture and tradition and holds great religious significance to the Buddhists. Tangyud monastery is one of the architectural marvels preserving the religion of the Buddhists in the form of paintings and murals depicting the ancient traditions of the region.
