  • Mask Parade: One of the best things to do at Denpasar Festival is to witness the most striking feature the Mask Parade showcasing performers wearing bright Balinese costumes and masks, accompanied by decorated floats and live music. The parade is complemented by other cultural events like live music and dance performances often by local artists of Bali. 
  • Traditional Games: Enjoy watching competitions. The Denpasar Festival often holds traditional games such as “Tajog” – a running competition using “bamboo legs” which is often a bonding activity between the older generation and the younger generation.   • In 2023 the theme for the Denpasar Festival was “Jayastambha”, which meant ‘Pillar of Glory,’  presenting stunning art exhibitions, musical and cultural performances, and a series of other exciting events for visitors.
