Jogini waterfall, Manali tourist place located in the Valley of Manali, Himachal Pradesh. It shares a border with Vashisht Village, which must be included in your Himachal Pradesh tour package. Jogini Waterfall Manali distance is around 3 kilometers away from the main market of Manali and roughly 2 kilometers away from the famous Vashisht Temple.

Known for its natural beauty, and is also of religious significance. The temple of the village is dedicated to the goddess Jogini Mata, located at the base of the waterfall. At the base of the falls lies the Jogini Mata Temple, a humble shrine believed by many to be a Shakti Peetha, one of the sacred sites where parts of Goddess Sati’s body fell, according to Hindu mythology. Pilgrims visit to seek blessings, perform rituals like mundan (first head-shaving), or simply find peace in the temple’s spiritual aura.

The best time to visit Jogini Waterfall, an offbeat place in Manali, is during the summer season, i.e. between March and May. In summer, the weather is pleasant, and the sky remains clear most of the time. The temperature of Jogini Waterfall, Manali, in summer fluctuates between 21 to 27 degrees.

Reaching Jogini Waterfall is one of the easiest and most rewarding short treks near Manali. The journey begins from Vashisht Village, located just 3–4 km from the main town.

Step 1: Manali to Vashisht Village

  • By Auto-rickshaw (Tuk-tuk): Quick and easily available from Manali. It takes around 10–15 minutes.
  • By Taxi: Comfortable option, ideal if you're in a group or carrying bags.
  • By Local Bus: A cheaper choice, but less frequent. Check with locals for the latest schedule.
  • On Foot: If you’re up for it, enjoy a scenic uphill walk (approx. 45–60 mins).

Once in Vashisht, walk towards the Vashisht Temple. The trek to Jogini Waterfall begins right behind it.
