Bali is about to host something it never has before. Zero Day Bali is making its island debut in April 2026, and it is bringing the full Day Zero experience with it.

Born in the jungles of Tulum in 2012, the Day Zero Festival was built on the vision of Damian Lazarus and his label Crosstown Rebels. Over the years it grew into one of the most distinctive gatherings in electronic music, where sound, art, nature, and culture collide in a way that feels unlike anything else.

In collaboration with Savaya Group, Zero Day Bali 2026 unfolds across six days from April 14 to 19, under the theme Journey to the Centre of the Universe. Sunset sessions, nighttime ceremonies, a wellness series, and one unforgettable sunrise at GWK Cultural Park.

This Day Zero Bali 2026 guide has everything you need to know before you book Bali Tour Packages.

Zero Day Bali Festival 2026 - Key Experiences

  • A week that builds, not just a single night: The Zero Day Bali festival is not one event with an opening and a closing. Each day from April 14 to 19 has its own energy, its own venue, and its own mood. You ease into it and it gets deeper as the week goes on.
  • Sunset sessions that stay with you: Multiple days across the week are built around the golden hour. Whether it is at Ulu Cliffhouse or Savaya, the sunset sets are designed to ease you into the night in the most Bali way possible.
  • The central ceremony on April 17: Everything in the week leads to this. GWK Cultural Park comes alive from sunset to sunrise with one of the most stacked lineups the island has ever seen. This is where the Day Zero festival Bali 2026 truly comes alive.
  • Venues that are experiences in themselves: From the clifftop setting of Ulu Cliffhouse to the iconic Savaya and the cultural grandeur of GWK Cultural Park, every location adds its own layer to the journey.
  • The Wellness Series at The Istana: Not every day of the week needs to be a late night. The Day Zero Wellness Series runs across four days at The Istana, giving you space to breathe, reset, between the more intense nights.
  • A crowd from every corner of the world: The Zero Day Bali festival has always drawn a global audience and Bali is no different. Expect to share the dance floor with people from across Europe, Asia, and beyond, all there for the same reason.
  • Sound, art, and atmosphere working together: The Day Zero festival Bali 2026 experience is not just about who is playing. The production, the visuals, and the settings are all part of a bigger picture that Damian Lazarus and his team have been building since 2012.

Zero Day Bali Things to Do Beyond the Festival

Bali has enough to fill every hour you are not at a venue. Here is what to do between the events:

  1. Catch a sunrise at Tanah Lot or Uluwatu: You are already staying up for the April 17 sunrise set. On other mornings, head to Tanah Lot or Uluwatu Temple and watch the sun come up over the ocean. Worth every early wake up.
  2. Explore Seminyak and Canggu: Great food, good coffee, and easy mornings. Both areas are relaxed enough to recover in without feeling like you are wasting a day in Bali.
  3. Visit GWK Cultural Park before April 17: The venue for the central ceremony is one of Bali's most iconic landmarks. Walking through it before the event hits differently on the night.
  4. Spa and wellness day: Bali has some of the best and most affordable spa experiences in the world. A massage between two big nights is never a bad idea.
  5. Best Beach clubs during the day: Savaya and Ulu Cliffhouse both operate as beach clubs during the day. A great way to see the venues in a different light before the events begin.
  6. Eat your way through the island: Bali's food scene is genuinely one of the best parts of the trip. Grab Nasi Goreng from a local warung or sit down at places like Merah Putih, Mama San, or Sardine in Seminyak for a proper meal.

How to Get to Zero Day Bali Location From India

How to reach Bali from India? The island is well connected from major Indian cities; direct and connecting flights operate from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai to Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali.

Airlines like IndiGo, Air Asia, Singapore Airlines, and Qatar Airways are common options. Flight time is roughly 8 to 11 hours depending on layovers.

Best Ways to Getting Around Bali During the Week:

The five venues spread across different parts of the island, so having a plan for transport each night matters.

  • Grab: Download it before you land. It works well for shorter distances but on big nights, especially after the April 17 sunrise set, book your ride early. Drivers disappear fast when everyone is leaving at the same time.
  • Private Driver: Honestly the easiest way to handle late nights. Your hotel can usually arrange one, or find a local driver on WhatsApp beforehand. Rates are reasonable and the peace of mind is worth it.

Quick Notes for Indian Travelers:

  • A Bali visa is required. Indian travelers can get one on arrival at the airport
  • Keep some Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) for smaller spends outside the venues. Not everywhere runs on card.

Most of the Zero Day Bali week plays out across Uluwatu, so staying in that area saves you time and travel each night. Here are options across budgets:

Luxury

  • Bvlgari Resort Bali: Perched on a cliff with private pool villas, butler service, and ocean views that are genuinely unforgettable. One of the finest addresses in Uluwatu.
  • Six Senses Uluwatu: Sustainability meets luxury here. Clifftop infinity pool, world class spa, and ocean facing rooms that make every morning feel like a reward.

Mid Range

  • The Edge Bali: Two spectacular pools, cliffside villas, and panoramic Indian Ocean views. Well priced for what it delivers and very close to the main venues.
  • Anantara Uluwatu Bali Resort: Reliable, well located, and consistently well reviewed. A solid base for the whole week.

Budget

  • Pink Coco Uluwatu: Adults only, fun atmosphere, and a great location near Padang Padang Beach. Stylish without being expensive.
  • Dreamsea Surf Camp: Boho rooms, direct beach access, and one of the best views in Uluwatu for a fraction of the price.

Staying in Seminyak or Canggu? You will need to factor in travel time to Uluwatu for the main events, roughly 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic

Tips for Day Zero Festival Bali 2026

  1. Entry is strictly for ticket holders and table reservation guests. Capacity is limited, so do not count on walking in at the door.
  2. Age restrictions vary by event. Most venues during Zero Day Bali week are strictly 18+ however the XXTRA experience on April 17 at GWK Cultural Park is strictly 21+. Carry a valid government issued ID at all times; no ID means no entry, no exceptions.
  3. Once you leave the venue, you are out for the night. Re-entry is not permitted under any circumstances, so plan accordingly before stepping out.
  4. Rain or shine, the event goes on. Dress smart, check the weather before heading out, and come prepared.
  5. All ticket purchases are final. There are no refunds or transfers regardless of the situation, so be sure before you book.
  6. Keep your bag light and leave the extras behind. Prohibited items include outside food and drinks, candy, large bags, props, inflatables, professional cameras, tripods, drones, and sharp objects.

Still asking yourself where and when is Day Zero Bali held? April 14 to 19, 2026, across Desa Kitsuné, The Istana, Ulu Cliffhouse, Savaya, and GWK Cultural Park.

Book your tickets early, sort your stay in Uluwatu, and show up ready. The rest takes care of itself.
