Thank you WanderOn for a wonderful trip to Thailand in May 26. Right from customizing our trip based on our tight budget for a family of 4, to providing pre-trip updates and instructions and on ground support, we had a smooth and extremely enjoyable trip.
Specially mention to Swayam Gupta, who almost personally made sure our requirements for the trip were met - budget, type of rooms and locations, (where other travel agents gave up trying).

How do I avoid scams in Thailand?

Check jet skis carefully before renting them on Patong Beach, and confirm prices before ordering at smaller bars in Patong and Pattaya. A driver who suggests a stop at a gem store or tailor shop is almost always earning a commission.

Do I need an international driving permit (IDP) to rent a scooter in Thailand?
Yes, Thai law requires an IDP along with your Indian driving license to ride a scooter. Many rental shops in tourist areas do not check, but police run regular checkpoints in Phuket, Krabi, Chiang Mai, and Pai. Fines are usually between 500 and 1,000 THB.
