Day 0: Delhi/Chandigarh to Manali

Day 1: Arrival in Manali + Self-Exploration

Day 2: Manali to Sarchu via Atal Tunnel

Day 3: Sarchu to Leh via Moore Plains

Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
125 km ride via Shanti Stupa, Khardung La Pass (5,359 m), Diskit Monastery with its 106-ft Maitreya Buddha, and the Shyok River. Evening at Hunder Sand Dunes with optional Nubra Valley double-humped camel tour or ATV ride. Overnight in Nubra Valley.
Day 5: Nubra to Pangong via Shyok Valley
160 km through Agam and Shyok villages to Pangong Tso, the world's highest saltwater lake (4,300 m). Camp near the lake, with photo stops at the 3 Idiots set. Overnight at Pangong.
Day 6: Pangong to Hanle via Rezang La War Memorial
165 km via Chushul, Rezang La War Memorial (1962 Indo-China War tribute), and Loma Bridge on the Indus. Overnight in Hanle village.
Day 7: Day Excursion to Umling La + Demchok
200 km round trip to Umling La (5,640 m), the world's highest motorable road, via Photi La (5,524 m). Return via Demchok, the last village on the Indo-China border. Overnight in Hanle.
Day 8: Hanle to Leh via Tso Moriri
289 km via Loma Bridge, Mahe, Kyagar Tso, and Tso Moriri (India's largest and highest saltwater lake at 4,522 m). Return to Leh via Chumathang, Upshi, Karu, and Thiksey. Evening at Leh local market.
Day 9: Leh to Kargil via Namika La and Fotu La
230 km via Hall of Fame museum, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Zanskar-Indus confluence), Lamayuru moonscape, Namika La (3,700 m), Fotu La (4,108 m) and Mulbek. Overnight in Kargil.
Day 10: Kargil to Srinagar via Sonamarg, Drass, and Zoji La
200 km via Drass (India's coldest inhabited village), Zoji La Pass and Sonamarg meadow. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 11: Departure from Srinagar
