Want a Europe trip focused on high-energy experiences, iconic landscapes, and memorable moments without the stress of planning everything yourself? WanderOn’s Europe adventure tour packages are designed for exactly that.
Choose from 8+ curated Europe adventure packages ranging from 8 to 17 days, packed with experiences like Northern Lights trip hunts, Tomorrowland in Belgium, Oktoberfest in Germany, La Tomatina in Spain, Norwegian fjord cruises, Jungfraujoch mountain excursions, Silja Line cruises, and alpine train journeys through landscapes that genuinely don’t look real.
Over the last 2+ years, we’ve run 200+ Europe departures across the continent through our Europe tour packages, moving 2000+ travellers through multi-country journeys, guided by trip captains and supported by on-ground teams who handle the “what now?” moments before they even become a question.
And somewhere in those journeys, a pattern quietly showed up: 15,000+ traveller experiences and a 4.9-star rating where people don’t talk about logistics at all. They talk about the silence on a mountain, the chaos of a festival, the views from a train window, and how strange it feels that something this big could feel this easy.
If Europe tourism feels more like an adventure film than a regular holiday, you’re in the right place. With these Europe adventure tour packages from India, Europe becomes something you don’t just see—you experience.

Why WanderOn Is Built for Europe Adventure Trips

  • WanderOn's Europe adventure packages are built by a team that specifically plans Europe, not a generalist agency that added Europe to a long destination list.
  • Years of running Europe trips across multiple countries has built strong on-ground expertise in handling complex routes, logistics, and real-time travel situations. This experience now supports 200+ Europe trips and 2,000+ travellers on the ground.
  • Backed by WanderOn Europe reviews on Google, Instagram, TripAdvisor, and WanderOn's travel community
  • The big experiences — Northern Lights hunts in Tromsø, Jungfraujoch at 3,454m, Norwegian fjord cruises, Tomorrowland in Boom, Oktoberfest with reserved tent seating, La Tomatina in Buñol — are written into the itinerary and included in the price. Not listed as add-ons you find out about after booking.
  • A Trip Captain with 2+ years of on-ground Europe experience travels with the group from the first city to the last, not a local contact who appears occasionally or a helpline on call, but someone physically present throughout the journey.
  • Stays are picked for access to trails, passes, and activity points.
  • Schengen Visa assistance, travel insurance guidance with adventure activity coverage, and full booking coordination are handled before you fly. You show up with a confirmed itinerary.
  • Groups stay small and naturally like-minded. Everyone joining WanderOn’s Europe group tour packages for adventure signs up for real adventure experiences
  • 24×7 support on call and WhatsApp throughout the trip for route changes, emergencies, or anything in between.

Signature Experiences That Define Adventure Travel in Europe

Oktoberfest, Munich

Reserved beer tent seating, Bavarian food, live brass bands, and litre steins from open to close. WanderOn's Oktoberfest in Munich departures as a group with confirmed seating—getting reserved spots as an individual traveller from India is genuinely difficult. The tents fill by mid-morning, and the energy runs till midnight.

Tomorrowland, Boom (Belgium)

One of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world, held across two weekends every July. WanderOn's exclusive Tomorrowland departure includes festival entry and accommodation inside or near the festival grounds, arranged months in advance before tickets and packages sell out publicly.

La Tomatina, Buñol (Spain)

Every last Wednesday of August, the town of Buñol runs a one-hour tomato fight involving tens of thousands of people and over 100 tons of tomatoes, a highlight in many Europe tour packages from Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, or, in fact, from any part of India. WanderOn has exclusively built the event into a Spain itinerary that pairs the festival with city stays in Valencia and Barcelona.

Northern Lights Hunt, Tromsø

A local guide tracks the aurora KP index in real time and drives the group to wherever the skies are clearest that night. The difference between a guide who does this regularly and going out alone is significant—aurora hunting in Tromsø in winter requires knowing the cloud patterns, the driving routes, and the backup locations.

Jungfraujoch, Swiss Alps

Rack railway through tunnels cut inside the Eiger and Mönch, ascending to 3,454m — the highest railway station in Europe and one of the most iconic places to visit in Switzerland. The Aletsch Glacier stretches out at the top across 23km of ice. On clear days, visibility extends from the viewing platform into Germany and France.

Mt. Titlis Rotair, Engelberg

The world's first rotating cable car completes a full 360° rotation on the ascent to 3,020m above Engelberg. Ice caves, a suspension bridge over a glacier, and a cliff walk at the summit. The rotation means every angle of the Alps comes into view on the way up.

Norwegian Fjord Cruise

Inside the Nærøyfjord or Sognefjord, rock walls rise 1,400m straight out of the water, with waterfalls dropping from the cliff faces into the fjord below. The Nærøyfjord is one of the narrowest in Norway; the boat passes within metres of the rock faces on both sides.

Silja Line Overnight Cruise, Stockholm to Helsinki

An overnight ferry across the Baltic that doubles as accommodation and entertainment for that leg of the trip, and one of the most unique things to do in Helsinki. Live music, restaurants, and deck views of the Stockholm archipelago set in before the open sea takes over through the night.

Pub Crawl, Prague

Through the beer halls of Malá Strana and the old town, where €2 pints have been a fixture since before most of the group was born. WanderOn's trip leaders know which venues to hit and in what order.

Vltava and Danube River Cruises

Prague by night from the Vltava, Budapest by night from the Danube — both cities look completely different from the water. Parliament, the Chain Bridge, and Buda Castle lit up from a moving boat is the Budapest moment most travellers talk about afterwards.

Husky Sled Ride, Lapland

A guided trail through a frozen birch forest on a traditional dog sled, usually paired with a Northern Lights night on WanderOn’s winter Scandinavia departures. Morning on the sled, evening waiting for the aurora—two experiences that don't overlap with anything else in the catalogue.

What a 10N/11D Oktoberfest Europe Adventure Trip Looks Like

Czech Republic | Day 1–3: Prague
Land in Prague and get two full days in the city before moving on. The itinerary covers a hop-on hop-off city tour, a Vltava River cruise, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and a pub crawl through Malá Strana to kick off the trip properly. One free day to sit in a coffeehouse, pick up some Bohemian crystal, or just walk the city without a schedule.
Hungary | Day 4–6: Budapest
Four hours by train and you're in Budapest. The Danube River cruise runs at night when Parliament and the Chain Bridge are lit up from the water. Days cover the hop-on hop-off tour, Heroes' Square, Buda Castle, and Fisherman's Bastion. Evenings go to the ruin bars of the Jewish Quarter, with Szimpla Kert the first stop.
Austria | Day 7–8: Salzburg and Hallstatt
The pace drops in Austria. Salzburg's old town in the morning, then the train out to Hallstatt in the afternoon—a village of 800 people sitting at the edge of a lake with the Dachstein mountains behind it. One of those places that looks exactly like the photos and still surprises you.
Germany | Day 9–10: Munich and Oktoberfest
This is what the trip is built around. Reserved beer tent seating at Oktoberfest, Bavarian food, live brass bands, and litre steins from open to close. The group goes in together on Europe backpacking packages like this one, specifically because getting reserved seating solo is nearly impossible. Munich's streets handle the rest of the time.
Departure | Day 11: Munich
Breakfast, airport transfer, flight home. Eleven days across four countries— the kind that fills up a camera roll and a group chat in equal measure.

Pre-Tested Europe Adventure Travel Tips Before You Go (WanderOn’s Trip Captains’ Verified)

  • Book Oktoberfest and festival experiences first
Reserved beer tent seating at Oktoberfest sells out months ahead. Tomorrowland tickets go even faster. If a festival is the reason you're going, secure it before anything else — including flights.
  • Get adventure-grade travel insurance
Standard travel insurance often excludes activities above a certain altitude or classified as adventure sports. Check that your policy covers glacier excursions, cable car rides, skiing, and hiking trails before you buy.
  • Pack layers, not bulk
Alpine weather in Switzerland and Scandinavia can drop 15°C between morning and afternoon. Thermal base, fleece mid-layer, and a windproof outer shell cover every condition without filling your bag.
  • Carry motion sickness tablets
The Jungfraujoch rack railway, Mt. Titlis cable car, fjord cruise, and overnight Silja Line cruise all have a way of catching people off guard. Pack tablets before you need them.
  • Break in your shoes before you go
New boots on day one of a hiking trail or a full day in Prague's cobblestone streets will end the adventure faster than anything else. Wear them for two weeks beforehand.
  • Download offline maps for mountain regions
Signal drops in alpine areas, fjord routes, and remote trails. Google Maps offline or Maps.me covers navigation when the network doesn't.
  • Carry cash for smaller stops
Hallstatt, Zaanse Schans, and smaller Austrian and Norwegian towns still run largely on cash. Carry €150–€200 for legs outside the major cities.
  • Check opening hours for mountain experiences in advance
Jungfraujoch, Mt. Titlis, and cable car stations close in bad weather with little notice. WanderOn builds buffer days into adventure itineraries for exactly this reason, but knowing ahead helps you plan the day better.
  • Start mornings early on mountain days
Jungfraujoch and Titlis are clearest before noon. Cloud cover builds through the afternoon on most alpine days. Early starts on these legs are non-negotiable.
