This was the best trip I have ever had in my life! Spiti has my heart. The mountains are so beautiful, and every moment was amazing. The best part of the trip was meeting so many wonderful people. We all started as strangers but became friends for life. A big thank you to Kritika and Ayush for making this trip so special. I booked WanderOn’s 7D/8N Spiti Valley trip for my best friend’s 30th birthday because we wanted to celebrate such a milestone in a truly unforgettable way. Even then, I kept my expectations realistic because Spiti is a challenging destination with long road journeys and difficult terrain. Looking back, this trip exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, our trip captains—Nishant, Aman, and tazdeek—made all the difference. They weren’t just trip leaders; they became our guides, mentors, brothers, and friends. They constantly looked out for everyone’s safety, helped us acclimatize to ex the altitude, shared local stories, explained the history and culture of every place we visited, and made sure every single traveler felt included. As two girls traveling together, we were also a little unsure about what the group dynamic would be like. But we met some incredible people from across India, and by the end of the trip, it truly felt like a family. WanderOn doesn’t just take you to beautiful places—they help you experience them. Every stop had a story, every meal introduced us to the local culture, and every day felt thoughtfully curated. A special mention to our drivers as well. Driving through Spiti’s roads is no easy task, but they were exceptionally skilled, calm, and professional throughout the journey, making us feel safe at every turn. Reaching Chandratal Lake at nearly 15,000 feet was one of the most surreal moments of my life. After hours of driving through breathtaking landscapes, standing in front of that pristine lake felt like a reward in itself. It’s a memory I’ll carry forever. The most heartwarming part, though, was my friend’s birthday celebration. Despite being in such a remote location and having an early morning ahead, the team arranged a cake, celebrated with us at midnight, and made her 30th birthday truly iconic. It wasn’t something they had to do—it was something they genuinely wanted to do, and that personal touch meant everything. I’ve traveled extensively, both within India and abroad, and I can honestly say this has been one of the most memorable group trips I’ve ever been on. Beautiful stays, seamless planning, amazing people, breathtaking landscapes, and a team that genuinely cares about creating lifelong memories.
